Should I reach out or move on after his flakiness and the mystery woman?

A guy I was dating for a few month but I’ve known for 3 years has been flaky the last few days. 2 nights ago he got off the phone with me saying his cousin called. He didn’t call me back for 4 more hours. Said his cousin was going through girl problems. It sounded weird to me but I decided to wait and see. I asked what he had planned the next day since he was off and he said he was gonna stay home and do laundry and clean house. The next morning he text me saying was running late for an appointment. I asked him when did he get an appointment and he said he forgot it was scheduled. I didn’t hear from him all day. That night I text him and he said he would call when he got home in about an hour. I called him 2 hours after because I had to go to work. He apologized for not calling and being flakey. While we were talking a woman in his background asked who I was. He told her to mind her business and when I was who she was he said just a friend. That she could hear me because I was on speaker phone. I got upset and because I had to go through security and do more work I got off the phone. He said I was rude and I haven’t heard back from him. Should I reach out to find out what was really going on or should I just walk away?

Would it be a waste of time though? I’m not saying I want to fix things but understand why he flipped everything on me and isn’t reaching out like normal.
