Why do good girls/guys get hurt and played?

good people in general get hurt and left with a broken heart.

You're playing word games with 'good'. That can mean a variety of things. A person with no self respect, isn't going to be respected. It's simple. If you bend over for everyone, expect to be a doormat. If you mean a person who genuinely respects themselves, well, might as well ask why Good things happen to bad people and vice versa. But the thing is, no one is 'good' and no one is 'bad'. There isn't a specific field you can just drop someone into. we're all f***ed up in some way or another. We've all felt like doing things that we KNOW isn't right. But those who break the laws and those who don't only makes them 'innocent' or 'guilty'. When even as I explained to someone else's question, even the innocent find loop holes and write laws only to benefit themselves and avoid paying their do's.  Everyone gets hurt, Everyone gets healed. Everyone has good times and bad, and some aren't really either. We all share emotions we find similar to ourselves, to what extent we feel those emotions compared to others isn't the same, but there is Some similarity behind everything.

Girls get played by guys because girls don't understand that guys don't work the same way as girls do. Sex makes girls get attached even if they didn't want to be, but it does not do that for guys.

And girls will meet a guy and will like him and want to be with him, and he only wants to be friends or FWB, so she thinks "if I give him sex, he'll like me more and want a relationship!" or she thinks "If I don't give him sex, he'll move on, but if I give him sex, maybe he'll develop feelings and want to stay." But that never works, and girls who make those decisions get played.

Because there's a massive difference between good and nice and because the world is sadly full of selfish people. Plus I think everyone needs to get their heartbroken at least once in order to full appreciate someone truly loving you

It's becuase people look at the big picture instead of the little things that made them happy. People are always searching for that better person and thinking that the perfect person is still out there for them and go the rest of their lives passing up great people and working to make that person your with to be the one you love.

Because they have the hearts that shatter the easier. Everybody goes through some tough times, we just gotta learn by our experiences. Getting in a position to be hurt more times than one and then repeating the same pattern is the character of a fool. I would know.

I agree with frosty the word good gets thrown around alot. But mainly because they aren't assertive and are push overs. Assertive people usually get what they want in life. And understand human behavior well. Doing nice things for people or being good to them. Doesnt guarantee they will return the favor. A lot of times you will get taken advantage of depending on the person.
