I'd say at least half if not 75% were my fault. I have my moments but the inner asshole/ptsd is just waiting around the corner to fuck things up. What about you?

By low self-esteem, I'm referring to someone who thinks very lowly of themselves, feeling inadequate and inferior to be someone's lover. These feelings can surface from issues such as making too low of an income, to feeling too emotionally immature to handle conflict, to making irresponsible decisions to escape conflict like heavy drinking and addiction problems. Have you ever felt this way when you were in a relationship?

I just lost my fiance after we spent 8 Years together and even now she's treating me like I never meant a thing to her... And I didn't even do anything unforgivable... But why do you guys have to put on your hate mask? Is it because deep down your hurting as well and you don't want us to see it? Or is it because you think it will make us hurt? I need to know because it may save my life right now

I'm talking the girl or guy you've known for years maybe a decade, the one who you've experienced so much with, hell even lost you virginity to or even studied/worked alongside with: would you still dump even that person, for someone better or intense feeling inside you (of infatuation or lust or love) for this new soulmate who's just crossed your path, unexpectedly and has taken your breath away, reeling feeling giddy.

Even if you don't show them that you're, you know... feeling those things. Ha; what if they're weren't. Even more awkward. Oh well.

I hated this about break up. I wondered how because our relationship didn't work, our friendship got destroyed.
Can't the friendship be sustained?
Can't us at least mean well for each other and be able to say hi and hello at least?

Assuming there was no pressure from him before and he didn't threaten to leave, is it wrong for him to end the relationship over that?

We broke up 3 years ago (my fault, combination of immature, scared, and got jealous of little things). I've been working really hard on myself to not be like that. Last Friday I went out to celebrate, got drunk and then text her. Following morning after woke up and realized I had become a stereotype of "what could have been" and immediately felt like crap. Ever since then though we've been talking for hours a day. She's single, I'm single, and she said that I have changed in all the right ways. I keep thinking maybe I'm just imagining it. But its at least 100 texts a day, and my heart races like it did when we first started dating. It definitely feels like it could be more than 2 people who were good friends catching up. Am I trying to find find gold in a silver mine here?

This is the first serious relationship I had and it ended about a month ago. She had always been very nice and generous with me from the day we met in person (we live in different states). We never intended to date but one thing lead to another. Two months after that she broke up with me facing away from me and crying. We talked for three or so hours afterwards. She gave a variety of reasons, none of them directly blaming me and talked about how much she relied on me and cares about me since we've met.

She said she wanted to remain friends and I did too. She's been miserable the past few weeks on top of her depression Recently whenever I think of her I go through a cycle of happiness, sadness/bitterness, guilt for feeling that way for someone who did so much for me even as a friend, and weakness for not having better control of my emotions. I feel like I still owe her my friendship because she's done so much for me. Do I?

I was seeing this girl for a year. We had some trouble spots, and we were still learning how to be in a relationship with each other.
Things were really good the month leading up to our break up. We talked so much, we supported each other, the sex was good, and I thought we were in a good place.
We revisited some things that came up from before we agreed to be exclusive, which hadn't been more than 4 months. I let slip that I was in love with her.
She asked for space and after a week I asked where we were and she said she wanted our relationship to end. She didn't think she could love me and that how I loved her was too much. She sited all these boundaries I crossed she never told me and she didn't have answers to questions I had. It was weird and sudden and the first time any of this had come up.
It's been two weeks, and I haven't heard from her. I tried to save it but she was in her head.

Is it likely after some time she'd reach out to me?

I had an ex from years ago reach out to get back together after 7 months being broken up. She went after me and it wasn't expected. But that one we had problems we didn't work on and it blew up. But she reached out to me.

You break up with your ex and block his/her number and all social media etc. 3 days later they message you on email loool. What would you do?
