@BigJake Where are you getting this information lol. If exogenous testosterone is used correctly it should do nothing but make your sex drive optimal. Progesterone steroids will decrease sex drive but need to be managed out with testosterone at the right ratio to keep everything in check. That is only temporary too. Most people go on and off steroids to let their bodies fully recover.

@Fearless_banana A lot of the hate comes from the fact that guys who don't use gear get unfairly compared to guys who do. I played football for 4 years in high school and 2 years in college, and there were a few guys who I knew were using. Nobody in authority even wanted to catch them on it, so guys like me who didn't use had to watch these guys' lifts go up and their 40 times go down at a freakish rate. Not cool when you're trying to do everything by the book.

Pro bodybuilders mostly get hate because natty guys know they can never look like them, or even like the pro physique guys who are smaller. But all guys who lift and get big get hate from other guys. It goes with the territory.

Stereotypes are an example of reasoning from the specific to the general. We all do it, and it's important for survival. The problem arises when we assume a stereotype is true for a specific person or persons, or act on the assumption it may be true, instead of reserving judgment until you have confirming facts.

@Fearless_banana I understand the benefits of gear, believe me. It's the most tempting thing in the world, especially for an athlete. But you're kidding yourself if you think you can beat the long-term health effects. The better drugs will beat your liver into pate, not to mention what they'll do to your endocrine functioning.

I met several older guys who'd played in our program in the '80s, and none of them endorsed gear because of the long-term costs they incurred. They said they used because everyone did back then, but it fucked them up. So that's all I needed to hear.

As far as people at bars go, if you're big at all, you'll get shit from drunk guys trying to buck up in front of girls. I don't even like going to bars because people try to start shit with me, mostly to prove they're tough shit to square up on a big guy. But that's just part of the deal.

@BigJake When you are almost 240 lbs at 6"1 and it's obvious you are on gear you get it to an unbelievable extent. Long term sides have never been really proven. I know you're referring to tren when it comes to kidney damage. My approach is hard training over drugs. The drugs are a tool and your choice of what drugs make all of a difference. That's a whole other debate though. For every study that says one thing there is another that contradicts it. I'm just talking about the negative shit people spew out for no reason other than try and bring you down.

No that would be silly.. because he put a lot of hard work into do that and has every right to be proud of it. That is his craft and art form. @OrdinaryGentleman I can maintain everything. I chose to stay on TRT though. I blast for a peroid of time at supraphysiological doses.. make my gains.. then come down and lower the testosterone to about 800 ng/dl keeping at a higher level but normal range. I can always maintain though.
