As I am surfing online, watching the TV, listening to the radio or overhearing people in the subway; the final word comes to a dating trend which was just popped up. There are tons of people who are the victims of these trends around us. I definitely know that you call yourself as a fox, but believe me, you are not. As soon as you finish this myTake, you will understand how unprotected you are. I am gonna put the 5 worst of dating trends of 2017 together below. You may be a victim already without knowing or you may be in danger as a potential victim. Read all of them carefully and take your precautions; because love makes people blind temporarily if it is not true.
Benching
I think that all these trends have cool names and these names describe the situation %100. Let's start with "benching". Your imagination will help you to understand what this trend is about. The perpetrators of this trend put people on the back burner. Remember the high school days, there were some girls and guys who made their own "might call roster". Benching is exactly twin version of it. The "bench" metaphor comes from this kind sports action. Briefly, if somebody is benching you, this relationship will not go beyond texting.
Breadcrumbing
Bad news! These breadcrumbs are not the cute kind of leading you into the forest. Actually, it is the exact opposite way. The aim of breadcrumbs is the same, but the person who breadcrumbs you is not in a good faith. This person wants you to take you somewhere you don't know and make you lost there, because this person has deep ego problems inside that you couldn't see in the first place. To say it clearly and shortly, This person gives you enough attention to keep you on hope, but never actually take a step to have a true relationship.
Ghosting
I think this is the most common and popular one currently. So, everybody knows how ghosting feels like. As everything is going perfect, your imaginary lover turns to a ghost. You assume that this is an incidence, but second, third and further days pass alone without any call or text. Congrats, you have just been ghosted.

Love Bombing
When you tell yourself "It is too good to be true", you may be under love bombing. The key words are too fast, too good. You may feel like you fell in love, but the person you have just fell in love is not feeling the same thing as you. This person acts like a perfect lover for a reason. This reason may have a psychopathic or experimental level, but you would never know what it is. Naturally, this kind of relationships end like ghosting and love-bombed side goes into a depressive time for a while.
Zombieing
In my opinion, the worst trend that I have ever heard about is zombieing. This name has a sense of humor, but the situation is very serious. This trend has two stages. The first stage is just same as ghosting. At the second stage, the ghost turns into a zombie who convinces you again to eat your heart.
Please, please, please be awake and don't be a victim of these.
