I fall into none of these categories, and I'm single.
While I don't consider myself pretty (and I'm too fat), I don't find myself "ugly"-just plain. Bleh. The other categories on here don't fit me at all.

The last one is the only one I can recognize myself in, however the reason I never make a move makes sense to me. I know I suck. I never had even a kiss in my life and Im old enough to have kids. And since I know that if I approached women I would get shot down constantly, I feel like its better to seem like uninterested, than to seem like an undesirable loser (which is what I actually am). I don't understand women and I am not capable of having any kind of conversation except friendly. A guy like me approaching girls would be like a guy who never even saw a pool in his life jumping into a wild river and expecting to swim. Its just never going to happen

Then its most likely nothing with your looks. Are you outgoing? What are your friends like?
The reason you think that way and the reason you've never even had a kiss is because you never make a move. You assume that girls aren't attracted to you, but since you've never made a move you'd never know, because unless you're really good looking they aren't gonna tell you so. They're afraid to do so themselves. At some point every guy has had to make their first approach/move having never done so before. The only way to learn is by doing it, and the more you do it the better you get at it. Most guys get shot down a lot because when you're the one approaching and pursuing, which most guys are, then it's just a numbers game. Even the best looking guys get shot down, just less. Those ugly guys you see who get girls will get shot down a ton - they just don't care because they know that they'll eventually find a girl who likes them. They know that every "no" they get from a woman brings them closer to the girl who'll say "yes".
@dancing_in_nebulas Used to be, not anymore that much. My friends are normal, couple of them are even a bit of womanizers, girls love them.
@englisc its not like I never tried with any girl in my life, but the ones I did try with, weren't interested, and the other ones also don't seem to be, since I have friends who are desirable to women, I can see how women behave when they like somebody. And after 29 years of no girl ever liking me, even 1% its hard for me to believe that any girl on this planet would be with me (because that girl probably doesn't exist)
29 is still pretty young, you seem to over analyze by how you are describing everything. I over think and it has stopped me meeting lots of guys due to constant self doubt and pre judging the situation beforehand.
Loosen up, get a nice look together for yourself and go out having a free heart and mind.
It is super difficult to date in general these days due to the "swipe for mr/mrs right," in which there is a presumption that the perfect person will magically walk around the corner - you know, with glitter and the heavens opening around them.
It rarely works that way. Men do better when building a list of women, (hence your womanizer friends,) not seaking out just one.
When I go out, I am usually girl #4 or #15 even of numbers men have collected, then they go through the list the next day and filter out which women are their tops and message them.
If none respond, you just collect more and have a good time doing it!

Oh yeah, that screams I want a real relationship all right.. of the girls I know, I doubt any of them would want to date the guy just if they found out they were #7 or even #2, or that he had back ups in case she said no! I could be wrong, but that method seems like more of grocery shopping than looking for a steady relationship.

I don't know, I'll take your word for it. I still think it's strange, just because that sounds exactly like when you're picking out like a pumpkin for Halloween or something, but I've never been very caught up on dating tricks, so I'm probably not the best judge anyways.
I think the real reason is tooo many people just dont understand till its too late just how high maintenance relationships are if they are at the core fake.
