Do guys care if their girlfriend's mom is fat?

I hear tht guys look at a girls mother to see how she will look down the road, and if your girlfriends mother is obese but your girlfriend is thin, do you care?

My moms fat and every one of her kids (all 5 of us) are in great shape. My mom was a runner when she was in HS and in great shape, got married, had 5 kids, stopped working out to raise the 5 kids, ate what my dad wanted her to eat, got extremely fat, dad died of heart attack at 47... mom has since lost about 70 lbs but still fat... The way I see it. She ended up fat partly because of herself, partly because of the kids, and partly because of my dad. So, would I care if my gfs mom is fat? No, because it doesn't reflect who she is. It reflects who her mom is, and what she went through. Maybe she got fat because she was lazy maybe she got fat because of other scenarios. But however she got fat it doesn't mean that her daughter will get fat or that they are a bad person.

Yes and no. Some guys that don't understand genetics well will be worried by this. Other guys that do understand genetics will also be worried by this. but other guys who may or may not know about genetics won't be. You'll never know what type of guy he truly is and honestly you don't need to know. It's not important. If he likes you he'll stick around. He'll answer your calls, and texts he'll want to spend time with you maybe not all the time but at least some times and that's all that matters. You don't know what your going to look like when you're older and neither does he so just relax and put those worries out of your head they aren't going to help. You'll be fine.

They're not dating her mom. If they have a problem with it, do you really want to date that kind of a guy?

if i'm looking at something long term, absolutely. I've always made it very clear to every girl I date that if they get fat, I leave. and... this would be a red flag

I do not care how my partners mother is physically. I would care more what health problems they have.

no not really as there could be a lot of reasons other than genetics as to why mother is over weight , I doubt its something I'd focus much time on

I go for girls with with a sharp looking mama.
That way if I strike out with the copy I might have a shot at the original.
