It's about matching. Sometimes that guy who is truly a womanizer, is simply playing to find the one..."sampling" if you will. But if he meets that "one" that triggers his thoughts beyond "playing" he wins. If they start off friends, if she is smart, if she brings topics to the table he enjoys, do they have a lot in common, can he trust her? Well. Most high quality guys (alpha males) are womanisers and we girls will go for the same type of man over and over hoping to land one. The top 10% of guys are Alpha males and they usually are able to get with 70% of all single and sexually available girls. But if that Alpha guy meets the right girl he will fall for her, secretly we all hope we are that girl but unfortunately most of us will have to settle for beta male "nice guys".

You know, I actually believe this is true. Womanizers are nice guys who have had an adverse reaction to getting screwed once. This is why they're successful womanizers -- because they're nice guys who know how to treat a woman. They put together great dates, have great conversation, they're thoughtful, but they're never going to actually have a relationship with you.

This is completely different from a player who just uses his looks and charm to get lots of side girls to willingly pay for everything.
