  If you look up the psychology of smokers (a lot has been published) and how it is exploited by the advertising industry, you would not consider a smoker as a potential mate.
  The underlying problem is a huge self-esteem problem, as well as being stupid.
  A long time ago, an introduction agency tried to set me up with a couple of smokers. I had to tell the agency, again and again, that smoking was a deal breaker.

  @cth96190 Ya it has just never made sense to me why people in this generation who are taught about the effects of smoking in school even consider smoking... But ya I suppose I can see your point. I'm curious if for some it is some kind of purposeful self harm... they don't feel the hurt but know they are hurting themselves kinda deal... possibly far fetch but just a thought.

  lol I smoke but I don't plan on doing it for much longer. My boyfriend does on occasion but for the most part he's not a fan and I have to brush my teeth after smoking always so I don't when I'm around him. We are planning on moving in together soon so I'll probably quit then. I don't like dip because of the spitting thing and it could get in their teeth.

  Although we have extreme disagreements (that you're aware of), yet still:
  Smoking is not worth it. Waste of money and health.
  
  It is extremely hard to quit, as it takes huge psychological toll. I personally get verbally aggressive whenever I haven't smoked for a long period of time (4+ hours and more -- more hours = more verbal aggression which may even elevate into physical aggression if anyone bugs me, which is EXTREMELY UNLIKE ME).
