i just can't be that close (physically/intimately) with someone who's close and breath reek/taste of cigarettes.

i'm a former smoker so i'm not entirely against the habit. i'd hope any smoker would have the intent to quit but i get that they can feel good and can be hard to put down. but the smell and taste are a turn off in terms of a relationship

It affects people differently. I had a pill problem. Luckily never got to intravenous. But when I didn’t get my fix, I was bed ridden.

My current boyfriend smokes. I am of the opinion that we all have things we can tolerate and can't. I very much understand that we also all have bad habits that we are either trying to get rid of. If the guy i happen to fall in love with smokes, at least can he have good smoking habits , ie takes breath mints after his smoke, is clean and all that stuff that doesn't make the scent so strong and bothering. Thats the least you could do for your partner that doesn't smoke, whilst perhaps trying to stop and get rid of the habit as

Their attractiveness would answer this question. For me, if she was fit, pretty and smoked then yes. If she was obese, ugly, and smoked then no. It's normal to toss out some of our standards if they are hotter. It's in our instinct to select an attractive mate.

I can't sadly because the fact is.. If she would smoke around me within so many feet.. I would not be able to breathe at all. Like if I have to walk past a smoker that split moment makes it like my body takes a pause on me able to actually breathe..

Dunno if it has to do with the fact I had asthma as a kid and outgrew it (According to my doctor).. but this does happen..

I'd do it if she was sincere about trying to kick the habit and had the genuine motherly instincts. As to the issue with weed smoke you set aside an outfit for that and you keep it apart from what the rest of your wardrobe is.
