If a lot of unnatractive guys hit on you, does that mean you're ugly?

Question

A little about my sitaution. I'm single, but i do date a lot. I'm 23. 4'11. 105 pounds, black hair, green eyes.

They call me "Ant" at work. Because I'm the shortest one there. I've dated a couple of guys at work. One of them was incredibly handsome and the others were cute. But I get hit on way more by unnattractive guys than decent looking guys. Like I have a manager who continuously hits on me and I try to shut it down as fast as I can. But he's persistent. A few other coworkers of mine and people at my university have hit on me and the majority are just not my type.

Im just curious if the majority of people who hit on you are unattractive, does that mean you're unnatractive?

Asked myself that before. It was like all guys I was attracted to were just too perfect and handsome to me because they never hit on me. Only those ugly guys, I don't want to sound mean and I now I'm not better than anyone but God I deserved better than those guys. Anyway I didn't think I was very ugly but It was more about my personality, I was kinda a little rebel with few extra pounds. When I turn 18 I had lost some weight, changed my clothes and dyed my hair blonde also became a sociable butterfly and more outgoing. I think It depends on your personality and how you behave to those you want to attract.

I don't think you can judge how attractive you are by the type of people who hit on you.

Generally men who don't look that well and are generally aware of that will become very intrusive and basically try with anything that comes their way. And it helps them do that if you're short/tiny as in your case because they feel more confident and dominant. Basically you are a target for their insecurities and complexes.

Which sucks but you can't really do anything about it except being a bitch which will have other unpleasant repercussions.

Most people prefer small women due to all those romantic drama series in TV and movies.. And even if there is a one in a million chance we guys would take it.. Coz what's wrong in giving a try. If you accepted then that would have hit the lottery right. So no problem.

Not at all.

You probably have a personality type that makes those guys either feel more comfortable with asking and/or is such that you seem attainable.

You should look at it like this, the unattractive guys are putting themselves out there less often. If they are actually asking you, it means you have something pretty cool going on for them to overcome the fear of rejection.

it is like if i like to have a diamond (you) but i don't have money {attractive looks] but it would not stop me from looking {approaching} ..

I just think you haven't had the best of luck. You're honestly pretty hot (like damn, your clothes in the first one). You can be hit on by anyone, and this kind of stuff happens to guys to. It's just that less attractive people may feel like they don't really have anything to lose.

I'm gonna be honest. You're sounding very prideful and vain. I appreciate your honesty about what you want, but you also seem to take your genetic gifts for granted. Me, a somewhat attractive guy ( 6 or 7 in looks) gets called handsome by many girls on facebook, ugly and beautiful alike. But, I kinda enjoy it. No offense, I find you to be very narcissistic just like any other person of you're level of attractiveness. Not even average people get hit on lol...
