My boyfriend doesn’t let me post certain types of pictures on social media but likes those types of pictures of other people?

Yesterday I posted a few nice pictures of me in a tight dress, my curves being accentuated and of course, I flaunted what I have. My boyfriend has all of my social media passwords and deletes the picture without my knowledge and tells me to stop showing off my body like a whore. Yet, he likes girls pictures and they’ll be showing everything off. It’s not the fact that he likes the girls pictures that bothers me. I don’t really care but, I do find it just a little bit hypocritical? I’m his girlfriend yeah, but what’s the issue if you have no problem looking at and liking someone else’s body flaunting picture but when it comes to mine all hell breaks loose? Shouldn’t I be entitled to post what I choose if that’s the case? I made this point to him and he stayed silent at first and evaded the subject. I wasn’t trying to pick a fight or complain, I sincerely just wanted to understand the logic in that. Like I said, I’m his girlfriend so I guess he wouldn't wanna see me like that on social media but my genitals aren't hanging out, i’m not suggesting anything with my picture, my body just looks poppin!

Biggest red flag. Why does he need and have your social media passwords? If my girlfriend wanted mine I would send her packing because it only gets worse from there. Not because I plan to be disloyal but because if she can't trust me enough to have some privacy then it's not going to work. My best guess would be that your boyfriend is possessive over you but at the same time wants to hog the attention of others as well to fuel his self esteem. Also guys that are usually the most jealous and possessive end up being the disloyal partners. Sorry this is not the most uplifting comment but it's just something you need to watch out for.

I would definitely change your passwords though. If he's doing something on it without your consent then that's a problem in itself. I never needed my girlfriends' passwords nor have they ever needed mine, but if they asked I'd trust them with it. This guy, I would never trust.

He is right. Girls who are posting their pictures on social media are exposing themselves to other men. They have a problem with self-esteem and can't get it from the relationship. He sees this as his failure and it makes him jealous and as a jerk. Imagine you'd do the same when visiting a club. You go in and start posing for other men. Kind of messed up about what he said. Other than that, it seems he just doesn't want the one known as his girlfriend seen like that by other men.
