Can a short guy possibly be desirable to women?

Okay, admittedly I haven't really put much effort into dating, but I am already losing hope. From what I gather on the internet is that, according to women, a man being short is a disgusting subhuman at worst and an unattractive person who has to make up for it at best.

Now some of you would say that this and that celebrity is short and attractive, but in reality you don't know what you are talking about. Their lack of stature doesn't shine through the TV screen. Tell me that a lot of women wouldn't laugh if they ever saw Robert Downey Jr. if they saw him in person:

Yes women have preferences and they are allowed to have them, I have them too. I don't disrespect that. Now I won't sugarcoat it, I am bitter, and I am sure most of you would be too if people consider you nigh undateable at best and subhuman at worst because of some trait you were unfortunate enough to be born with and can't do a thing to change. Now tell me, can a short man ever be desirable? If so, does he have to have otherwise amazing looks or a 6 digit salary to even be considered?

Nothing to worry about really. It is true that women like taller men, but I know plenty of men that are 1m70 or smaller and still have no complains about their sex and love life (and those include married men and men that have a different girl every week).

Women are actually mostly attracted to confidence. So being small doesn't really matter that much. Feeling bitter, or desperate are the real deal-breakers. Change that and you will have more luck.

The sad truth is that women are biologically ingrained to see short men as undesirable. Even if they can tolerate your lack of stature, they would never like it.
