If a guy tells you his insecurities does that mean he doesn’t like you?

So I’ve been getting to know this guy and on a few occasions he’s told me his insecurities, one being his height & the other that he has a really hairy back & he told me the story of how when he went away he didn’t go in the pool/swimming because he didn’t want to take his top off.

Does this mean that he doesn’t like me & just sees me as a friend?

Maybe he sees more than just a friend? He's comfortable telling you think he usually doesn't tell, maybe he likes you.
