Girls, can a guy make "uncool" hobbies/ interests seem "cool" to you by fully owning it and offering to involve you in it?

For example, let's say he's into Dungeons & Dragons. But instead of shying away from talking about it, instead he openly talks about D&D when out on a date with you. He tells you why it fascinates him, he explains how there's more to it than meets the eye, and he has that attitude where he just naturally expects you to kind of fall into that zone with him. Maybe he even offers to bring you along to a game for a 2nd/3rd/whatever date.



(You could substitute this for anything considered a niche/ nerdy/ less-stereotypically-masculine hobby or interest. Maybe he just loves collecting stamps, and every stamp has a story and history that fascinates him. You get the idea...)

Yes there was a hobby, I do not know what it is called, but they dance with a huge flag, they spin it around and throw it up. and I had to do that in school once, and it was fun. But I didn't consider it cool until I met a colleague of mine and he showed me a solo of a guy who used a few flags at the same time, spinning them on his feet, juggling, behind the back, balancing, everything, was nice

Yes, absolutely, but with a qualifier - if it's something esoteric or done with great passion.
No, if it has ANYTHING to do with video games, super heroes, and yes, sorry, fantasy. Hard no. They've been done to death.
But a lot of young girls like this stuff too nowadays. This is just my opinion. I like men, not man childs.

A little bit, yes! But it's ok. My husband of the same age as me plays Fortnite every single day so it's just a guy thing that never gets old for you. He likes building, fighting, creeping, all that. We accept it. But do I think it's "cool"? No I do not ;) But you do you.

I think having niche hobbies like the ones you mentioned is actually very cool. I would be attracted to a guy who was a stamp collector! I myself love classical music, to play the piano, backgammon, and reading! I think interesting hobbies make a person have more depth/substance.

Yes... my ex was into fixing and racing RC cars... he not only made it sound extremely interesting by explaining it to me but by also involving me... and this is coming from someone who knows nothing about fixing anything... same thing with his fishing hobby actually.
