... to eliminate the possibility that they only want you for your money? ... or you wouldn't care?
I asked a similar question last year and most said to just not let them know about it. But how can you do that if it is easy to detect by where you live and many other tell tale factors.
I mean, let's just say for example, if your dad has two private jets, helicopters and a heliport on your property and you are surrounded by body guards... how can you hide it from them so that you know they are not just after you for money?
... and what if being around all that wealth makes you lonely even though there are lots of people around because you can't be around ordinary people whenever you want to for fear of kidnapping, etc?
... what if you don't like most of the spoiled conceded guys and girls in your social circle, but can't hang around those who are from average social circles without them shunning you as the elite snob when you're not? ... but they are automatically jealous of you with a per-conceived bias?
What is your thought about this type of dilemma that a young person born into a rich family at no fault of her, or his, own would have finding someone that would love them for who they are and not for their inheritance?
A. I would definitely find someone within my own social class! I would always be afraid that he, or she, only wanted me for the money, even if it wasn't true otherwise
B. No, I wouldn't worry about it, that is what pre-nup's are for
C. No, I would find a romantic interest somehow while traveling or something so he, or she, wouldn't know until we got to know each other first
D. OMG! Like I could care less! If they are surrounded by that kind of money they have far less problems that I do... give me a break!

If you are from an extremely wealthy family, would you only date others from wealthy families?
Probably it would lean more toward that , but not a 100 percent. Only reason I say that is because her and I would have more in common if we both came From wealthy families so we would probably relate to each other more that way but I wouldn’t just focus on finding a wealthy girl , considering money doesn’t really mean shit to me , I look at money as security to keep a roof over my head, food in my mouth, clothes on my back and some play money for entertainment but as long as my bills are paid that’s all that really matters. you shouldn’t base money on love , If I met a girl that was beautiful and she works to support herself and she isn’t the type that is looking for hand outs that’s where the attraction towards her would really Come in. You can pretty Much tell if someone is just after you for money if they are expecting you to buy them gifts all the time or if they are constantly holding their hand out , and asking you for money etc.. someone like that To me is pretty much a piece of shit and a mooch and my interest in her would quickly fade away fast , I would feel like I I paid for a whore and pretty much treat her like one and just move on. Love for me is someone that loves me for me, makes me feel wanted , removes selfishness and chooses to stand by my side no matter what and makes me a priority like I make her that’s where attraction and love come into play. So it’s sad to hear that people degrade themselves for money that lie for their own selfish gain. I always been a content person , I grew up with parents that made good money and I had nice things growing up but I never depended on it. I consider myself a hard worker I was working jobs since I was 12 years old I enjoyed making my own money and I barely ever asked my parents for anything , I appreciate things I have worked for , that’s how i was raised.
I would only date in my social class, that's what most of the elites and wealthy do. I think a poor person would be overwhelmed by all the servants and waiting on hand and foot. Plus, rich people are usually snobby, never worked a hard day where they got tired feet, and are isolated from the rest of society. They live in gated communities while the rest of us have to deal with the lowlives around our neighbourhood and cities. They can afford the top lawyers, private schools, security, and they have perfect lives where money solves all their problems. There are exceptions of course where some wealthy people would leave their life and do a couple of years traveling to a foreign country with just nothing, or try to experience what life is as a poor person. Personally, I'm not sure if I could handle a wealthy person since I'm not materialistic but I might end up becoming snobby and looking down on people. I think people should be within their own class. Look what happens when a poor person wins the lottery, they have no idea how to spend it and they declare bankruptcy in a few years.
I would probably file for like an expiring 4 year pre-nup. As in yes we can be married, but until we make it to our 4th wedding anniversary can we determine if the assets go into jointly in his name. I think the first 1-2 years of marriage are the hardest and year 3 is when couples stabilize and figure out if this is really the kind of joint lifestyle they want. Couples that are not going to work out typically do so in the first 3 years. During that time, we would share our lifestyle expenses, make large purchases together (wedding, house, car) but may not necessarily transfer him into ownership by entirety onto things like my inheritance, or my fathers estates or just other family windfalls if that makes sense. I think there's a certain amount of time and active interest you have to put in my family (helping my family out) to build up the social credit, loyalty and trust to benefit from family endowments. I am marrying you, I am more than happy to share everything I have, but less what people who love me have for me if that makes sense.
I'm from a wealthy family, but the wealth is dwindling down. My fiancée is wealthier but that's not why we are together, and at this point it matters little.
Yeah that would suck and definitely would be extremely tricky to navigate. Maybe just live your life as low key as you can and if you meet or see a guy you might want to date you might have to make the first move and make your people hold back a little. This way you're picking the guy so it's a better chance he's not some guy after you for your money because you picked him and making the bodyguards keep back a little at least for the first couple dates so dude doesn't catch on maybe even had a backup story in your pocket I case dude starts noticing the bodyguards. Something like your part of a study or a reality TV show or whatever but do your best for him not to notice the bodyguards. Who would think rich people would have such a problem but I bet there's some rich guy somewhere that feels the same. Everyone's problems are big to them and I can see how this issue could be upsetting so don't worry about anybody giving you attitude trying to downplay your problem because to them their problems are bigger cause regardless of who's problems are bigger this is your problem that you're dealing with and it's not your fault they have problems. This goes the same whether it's you or some other person's problem
So how I see this is, you cannot collide these two worlds and expect people to behave normal because thought process is heavily different where for buisness men time is money and there is certain goal that needs to be acheived and it demands sacrifices and broader sense of freedom Be it rich or the non rich everybody is after money for rich people it's status symbol or buisness expansion plans behind the driving force of relationship.
And for the non rich it's illumination and comfort, luxury.
If you collide these two worlds you have to make some adjustments I think it won't be much successful the way the people see world are quite different hence.
While non rich enjoy their labour differently with what they have there primary goal to is to have enough to lead a happy life.
So if you want person not to no your background or not end up kidnapped. You have to change where you live or lifestyle like normal people although you might be able to work in which ever firm you want but your identity should be hidden then it's like you are emerging on your own.
Like you have to choose to live a complete different life its not impossible to have friends from lower status circle but one or other time it will come up and you have to answer it or just make friends who are completely oblivious to whom you are and you have to dial it low and live like average person

Unpopular opinion. Yes. I don't think I could date some one that had less wealth.
Firstly considering I'm a female and female have a natural affinity for hypergamy, I couldn't bring a poorer guy home, I'd get kicked out. Secondly, my quality of life would go down. I don't want to make him feel left out, so there's a lot of things I won't do anymore if he can't afford.
Most guys I know, they would date a lower social class... but not much lower. I've heard girls sometimes feel uncomfortable with it, or they dress really slutty, or they kind of act in a which doesn't really... fit in. Like expressive political opinions and being loud... it doesn't really work out. So mostly people just end up with each other.
Also it doesn't have to be someone from a wealthy family. They can be successful in their own right, like an entrepreneur.
If I were rich and had difficulties making connections, I can always resort to brothels or sex parties.
or connect where rich people hang out. You know. Class attracts class. I would of course hide my wealth as much as possible and tell them, that these are my last remaining assets from the days when I had the means and am now living with what's left.
Would I date a low class woman? Only if she's striving towards wealth like the rich do. Otherwise we'd be incompatible. I don't want a traditional earner me and spender her relationship.
Mostly within my circle or a little below. Not dramatically below it. I need to assess his character. If he's not a freeloader and working hard sincerely, loves me for me then it's approved. In my country, a husband can't acquire wife's property without her mentioning his name on it. It can't be inherited just like that, but however, a wife can be entitled for certain money.
I was just about to explain my idea on the matter but option C pretty much summed it up. I wouldn't flex my wealth if I'm meeting someone that's not rich and make sure she actually choses me for me only to surprise her with the news that she just won the lottery after she agreed to live with me in a humble way.
I honestly couldn't give a genuine answer to that, I would hope that I'd be the same that I am right now in that I don't care about a persons wealth or social status.
But to be honest I really have no clue how'd I feel on the subject if I was raised rich like that from birth. But I would hope I'd have my same viewpoints I have now.
I would say I'd be a lot more weary when dating thought just because you'd have to worry about things like gold diggers.
It would seem logical to date someone who is equally financially wealthy because they know the lifestyle, but just because you have one thing in common doesn't mean there will be a connection that you might find with someone in the working class. But there are some out there definitely looking for a come up so I would have the pre-nup ready if things were to go further.
I would date someone who will not bring be down or hold me back. In term of financal, being wealthy isn't good enough if he is lazy and demanding. But if he is poor yet he works hard and know how to manage hus momey, its better! It more or less about how he manage his money, not how much he has.
I would rather find someone who would not be knowing that I am wealthy like i would act as if i belong to a middle class family or something so that i would get to know them better and when i would feel like i can trust em then i will reveal my identity cuz why not
I'm thinking this may be why he ghosted me. I don't know if they are rich or not, I'm definitely not. His mom hates me, dad was whateverz. Mom did everything she could to get him to stay away from "ghetto white trash" like me. Guess she eventually won. He had a car, not sure if it was his or the family car. Did have a nice iPhone tho, one of the new ones I guess. So yeah, he had more money than me.
I'll let you know if and when I ever become super wealthy !! Actually, I'd do what you see in a lot of movies. I'd date a girl under a different name and pose as someone making a decent income, but nothing spectacular. She'd have no idea about my wealth. I'd do it for a long enough time and be sure she didn't know, and see if wanted me for me.
I'd say maybe to protect my namesake but other than that I'd date normally secretly to find a girl worthy of my money. Sadly most girls would probably pick others with more money but I'd want to find that girl that was less concerned about it.
First, if I didn't know enough about the girl's personality and values to know if she was genuine, I wouldn't marry her. Second, women from my own social class would be just as likely to want to marry into more money and status. I, personally, would want to marry a nice, normal, sweet, smart girl. Actually it depends... If there's "Love" happened then I don't think social classification doesn't matter. But if you are in some kind pre-mind set... then similar class would be better. But I always believe that money comes with problem, not comfort.
I've mostly always been well off and never cared about the money others made. I did get used, then learned to just not say a word about it till I knew the person better.
