My girlfriend told me she would let me look through her phone so I took her up on that offer the next day. She wouldn't let me touch the phone but just quickly scrolled through her apps. When I asked her to show me kik she hid her phone screen and then started acting very suspect. Her excuse was there were pictures of girls on there that she didn't want me to see. So she starts to get off of our bed like she's walking off with her phone and my heart starts to explode because I feel like she's hiding it deleting something. She walks off and I look, I see a convo with a guy that has a half naked default pic. We have been together for a year and a half and she claims all her old iphone apps transfered to this new phone and it's old from before we dated. I don't believe her. Her around of secrecy and resistance says otherwise.

it's so funny when people lie and thinks it's okay... one of my friend's ex boyfriend used a very similar excuse. When I used to be on Tinder, I saw my friend's ex boyfriend profile popped up. I figure it has to be her boyfriend who never met me, but friends always know what their s/o looks like through social media. I purposely swipe right on him to see if he was tryna cheat on her. Guess what? He match me asap and started flirting with me. Told my friend, she immediately talked to her boyfriend, and then he quicklyyyy unmatch me on tinder LOL. What was his excuse? His phone has been getting hacked lately and its an old app that he never deleted... she trust him and bought it. Soon after they broked up.
Story is... trust your gut feeling as the red flags are obvious and have a talk with her. Hopefully she can be honest and you guys can work things out.

Only the guilty have something to hide. If she truly had nothing to hide then she would toss you that phone and let you have a look. Her behavior is a deal-breaker on my end. Not even sure why you're still with this broad. She is clearly doing something behind your back. If you had true self-respect you would leave her in the cold and start dating other people. Life is too short to spent it with someone who makes you suspect their loyalty and break your trust in them.
