⚠️asking this question cause I’ve seen a lot of people say stuff like “I wouldn’t date outside my race” even in 2021? So I’m just wondering why people still have those kinds of beliefs in this day and age? ⚠️
My personal stance is I’m for it, people should be able to love who they want to love regardless of race/ethnic background/cultural background;; etc
I don't have anything against it. The problem I have is why black guys (and I only say that because it's only the black guys saying it) think every white girl should sleep with them or she's a racist or something's wing with her if she don't. Now, take those same black guys and watch how they react when they see a white boy with a black girl. They will mean mug, wanna fight, break their necks driving down the road and follow you around, everyone be looking and talking being their back. How do I know this, because I'm that white boy. It's only cool when it's the other way around and like you said, this is no 2021. Jews will not marry or allow other jews to date or marry outside their race unless it benefits the race, mexicans rarely do, Chinese, japanese, Indians, middle easterners all stick to their own. I would say a little over half of GaG are in favor of it. I think the issue you and for most young "Black" women is you are going to run into this issue of not staying in your lane.
Like, a lot of guys here claim they would be with a "Black" woman. But they don't want the type that is going to point out racist bs. They don't like the type who won't conform to social norms, which are "White". If you wear your hair naturally. If you decide you want to wear some type of fashion. If you are outspoken about certain causes that are important to you.
I feel like I’ve seen so many super racist people towards black women on this site. I’ve seen someone compare them to monkeys, say they’re all ghetto and undesirable, etc.
And I’m fine if people aren’t attracted to black women, but I just don’t understand what’s the point of bashing them? So many black women and girls have a low self esteem because of this and I feel bad that kind of stuff happens on this day and age.

Of course "Black" women have lower self-esteem because of this. That's why this site is pretty bad for "Black" women to seek attention from men of other cultures. But there are plenty of places where you can have productive conversations with men/boys of other backgrounds.
But truthfully, the only way we are going to address this issue of self-esteem with young "Black" women is by doing a better job as a community of educating "Black" children early. We have to have more positive images, a better education for our youth on African-American History, etc.
We can't expect to throw kids out here and not have them be seriously affected by the negative bullying, insults, and threats.
Anyway, I also wanted to tell you to keep your eyes open when it comes to men from other communities. My best buddy is Asian. He is married to a "Black" woman.

I’ve heard of a couple similar to this one before but with an Asian women and a black man (I forget the exact video but their yt channel is called “Lily Petals” and they had this one video where the mother was showing her kids famous blasian women so they could see positive representation of women that looked like them (they where about 8-4 years old) and the video was really sad because the girls where constantly comparing their skin complexion to the girls and that just confirms to me that colorism does exist and “mixing” doesn’t fix it.
Since I’ve heard a lot of people make claims that “we should mix to stop racism” but racism doesn’t go away unless we address it and fix it.
These girls grew up in South Korea for a majority of their lives and it’s so sad because many disgusting people made hateful threads on forums online talking about how ugly the girls where because they where half black and how the mother shouldn’t have married a black guy, etc. it was so hateful and disgusting and it only happened a few years back?
And I completely agree, If we taught black children about these issues early on they would be better equip at not only handling but dealing certain stuff.

Sadly true. I tried to talk to a racist once on here and they immediately just tried to be offensive towards me by trying to say I’m probably an angry black women who’s been knocked up and doesn’t know who her kids father even is.

I don't really see an issue with interracial dating. But my current boyfriend is Asian like I am. I'm not declaring that I'm racist, I just have not met a single white/black/hispanic guy in my entire life that I felt a strong attraction too.
from experience I find that older folk (maybe your parents, grandparents) think interracial dating is a huge NOPE. I've heard tons of bs about how it's going to ruin the family bloodline, genes, etc. I know some interracial couples who are happily married and have several children. They would tell me stories about how their parents were against it at first but later they came to accept it and welcome the guy/girl as part of their famliy. A small handful said their parents forever carried that grudge to their graves.

I don’t have an issue with who other people are interested in cause your dating options are 20-96% smaller if you restrict yourself to a cultural or racial or religious demographic and some might meet a very compatible match from a different cultural position but I think same race relationship have a higher possibility of success when you broaden your stats.

I could care less what other people do. As for myself, I’ve interracially dated and dated my own back and forth for the past 10 years. I try not to pay attention to race when dating. However, even in interracial relationships, there are times where one or both people are still not aware of their cultural ignorance and racially insensitive statements towards the other race of person they’re dating. Its helped me to realize what is and isn't for me, so until people can learn what is and isn't okay to say to eachother, i just prefer to date my own race from here on out. I still find all races attractive but interracial dating isn't something i look forward to continuing

I’m a black girl and I’ve had to hear on several occasions “You act white”, or being referred to as an Oreo. And the only reason people say that to me is because “I speak properly” so now all of a sudden I sound white; when in reality I just sound like the people I’m around the most and that’s my mom. I kinda can't help it since I'm biracial all ready. Everything is sort of interracial in my case, if not in my eyes then everyone else's. Sometimes I think the kids we make from this will have a hard time. But you love who you love, and one of the things I've noticed is that being mixed gives you a nice bullshit radar. For example, I was the first to protest even when I was a kid that you can't be racist against white people. These racist types tried to redefine the idea of "racism" to make it so only white people can be racist, and I was the first to see through that manipulative bullshit right away. I also got disowned from a church, by my own mother, for seeing through all their bullshit. I think we biracial kids have a knack for detecting bullshit because we got two cultures instead of one to judge.

I am fine with it, if people choose that, and that makes them happy. Since the Floyd incident, almost all commercials, focus on black, and interracial couples. That does not follow with statistics. So are they just over-compensating, because of Floyd, and then just racially ignoring, marginalizing whites, because of that? Seems so!! In the US, African Americans make up about 12-13% of the population, yet they are portrayed in about 75% of commercials! Just shifting racism from one, to another race? Seems so. How is that going to solve the 'race' problem? Seems to me, it will just make the radical whites more angry, and more active. Why can't we all just get along?

I'm not against interraciual dating. The reason why is because color isn't important. You show that you don't care what skin color your partner has. People with darker skin color are people as well with feelings. You shouldn't reject someone based on someone else's skin color.

Love is a human right and everyone should be with whomever they want to, may it be the same sex, other race, with a huge age gap, whatever. As long as both parties are consenting adults and happy in the relationship.
