Conformation.

Don't know if you noticed, but black people's musculature also tends to be more marked than white or Asians.
That has ancestral reasons behind it, and strictly tied with the environment the various races came to be at.
Being blacks from Africa (african-american is NOT a race, it's a made up term), they picked the shortest straw and had to live in an environment battered by extreme hot temperatures and very dangerous wildlife. Through strive for survival, black humans adapted to that environment and grew accustomed to the harshness of the equatorial sun, the relative lack of water and the fast, carnivorous wildlife.
Whereas caucasian had to deal with colder climates and a more agricultural friendly land.
Cold requires fuel to burn, thus we have generally less marked musculature and much ease at developing a belly.

  Comes with the territory. Their physical attributes are more... Feral, so to speak.
  Their voices needed to be frightening to beasts. As sometimes scaring an animal that would very probably be better than you in combat works wonders. It even works with bears, and bears is stuff that lives where caucasian live.

99.99999% genetic. Literally nothing else other than maybe having surgery on his vocal cords. This is also true why some men are taller than others. It’s pre set in the DNA code (albeit malnutrition or hormone treatment can impact this).

I just wish women would stop judging men on things they have zero control over. That doesn’t mean you have to date high pitched voiced short men. But don’t judge them as if they had a choice when it comes to those characteristics.

If you want to judge then judge someone on something they CAN change.

They don’t. Factually Black guys have lower testosterone levels on average during puberty. Vocal cord development depends on testosterone levels. High levels leads to longer vocal cords which result in deeper voices. White men on average have deeper voices then Black men.

  @Nunyabixzerz Key word is "development". I know your low IQ leads to lack of comprehension. That's your problem. Black males have lower level of testosterone during development. Then they peak real quick in their early 20s and tapper off faster than other races which leads to many disease states later in life and shorter life expectancy. They have lower testosterone at the start of their lives and at the end, but peak higher for a couple years in the middle like a bottle rocket. They are minute men... But keep trying to avoid the facts little guy...

They don't, atlesst that I've seen. I think what you're talking about is that people who grow up in the inner cities normally have deeper voices than people who grew up in the suburbs or country

Probably genetics. Same as why they usually can get more muscular, and their skin is usually darker if you notice.

I've read a couple of studies about it and it's clear that the reason is culture. White men in London will also speak in a higher pitch than other men of the same race.
