My boyfriend took me to a surprise dinner last night to one of my favorite restaurants

And I asked him how he knows

And he replied
"I messaged your best friend on instagram.. which restaurants I should take you.. I dont know any good ones so I asked her and she told me to take you here since she knows you well"

But why would he do that?
