Nope, not that I really have a choice. While mask restrictions are more lax in my state now, most restaurants, banks, stores, public transportation, and my job [hospital] require you wear a mask... even if you're vaccinated.
So outside of being at home or walking outside when there's no people nearby? Still masked up!
Which I'm fine with. Wearing a mask hides my ugly mug, AND people can't see the face I make at them when they say or do something stupid.
Y'all can just put two pictures on your dating profiles: one with and without a mask... that way your potential date can recognize you! LOL
LOL you don't have an ugly mug
Love that meme š¤£š¤£ and stop hating on yourselfš”š¤
That would require putting it on in the first place, so no, I haven't. When they said to "lock down" last year, I was dubious, but obeyed- better to be overly cautious, after all- and simply didn't leave the house for two weeks. But I closely followed the emerging numbers from every source in every language I could decently read. By the time the two weeks were up, I realized the danger was overblown (especially as we were heading into spring), that this wasn't a civilization-destroying disease, and that the smartest way forward was for the strong and healthy to expose themselves, recover, and build herd immunity. So I never put one on, since that would prevent that from happening, and being locked away with crippled social contact is terrible for your mental, immunological, and general health. (The lack of exposure to germs is not doing your immune systems any favors, folks; do you WANT to end up like the Martians in War of the Worlds?).
So far as it relates to dating- I have my doubts, at this point. Putting aside for a moment its legitimacy, the hold that Fear has over people is going to be a LONG time in dissipating. It's just like we saw after the 9/11 attacks; the danger may have passed, but the terror lingers on.
No, here they are talking about keeping it until 2023.
Despite the vaccines, our government plans to launch a campaign too to intesify controls and police and military checkpoints.
It's mostly talk but I have seen much more police and soldiers in the streets.
Wow! But you guys had a very bad epidemic there. So I guess it's understandable that people still want to be very cautious.
But how do you feel about it?
Curious where is "here"
@Jamie05rhs exactly. We had the brunt of it and we don't wish to throw away all our sacrifices. To be honest, I kind of support those measures and I'm involved in a social campaign to keep safety and precautions in place.
@stormiigrl, Italy.
@Jean-Marie_CƩline Cool!
I miss italy. I have family still there :)
@stormiigrl I understand, are you from Italy as well if I can ask?
Ready to take my mask off-yes..
Date? These asshats out here?, uh yeah no thanks... I'm good where I am.
Bahahahahaha fair enough!
@Zmuetbflsi For many moths we haven't been able to can't ask women out of coffee, much less for dinner. The "social distancing" decree has been loosening over the past few months, but it still hasn't returned to normal. Guys want to ask yo out to dinner, but not if we have to call in ahead of time and make arrangements. I'm sorry, but when are more detail oriented, while guys are more spontaneous. I hate using stereotypes, but I feel this is accurate. I'm NOT hitting on you ( I swear) but, for the purpose of this example, I'd like to ask you out for coffee. Once upon a time this would be easy. Under current circumstances it takes planning and guys aren't detail oriented.
@MTC29 It wasn't the lockdown. It's more me and being old school. People'use to date to find someone to love, become involved with... Now people seem to date for just sex and hook ups... Relationships are by text or video, noone seems to put the actual time into getting to know someone or just enjoying that person's company. Now it's "what value do they bring" blah blah. I miss being in a relationship, I miss waking up to the same man every day. But not enough to put up with the bullshit people on these days... I did that once since my hubby died. Let my lonliness get the best of me and be stupid in a way I'm smarter than. And it didn't make me miss what I had less, made me miss more. So these days, I just stay away.
I figured your response would be something like that- you were a lot kinder, though. :- )
@Massageman I can be kind on occasionš¤£
I am so glad that I dont have to worry about dating in todays world. If you dont have a cellphone. You a sick twisted weirld stalker.

Coach, I'm in Florida and I've been dating for 6 months without a mask!
yeah I know I know.
I don't live in the US, so where I live we still have to wear masks. Of course, Covid deniers only wore them to work or to go to places where wearing a mask was mandatory. But overall, most people still wear them.
I'm not vaccinated yet and even when I take the vaccine I will keep wearing it until it's safe to go out without it.
As for dating, I had no intention to date before the pandemic and I still don't have it. I want to have a boyfriend but not until I'm living in a decent country with decent men.
Take the mask off, sure. Date? If the right woman for me comes along, sure. But I honestly donāt see that happening - at least not for a long time. My mom reminded me that the last of the family with our name is dying out (though not our family). My sister is married, took the hubbyās name. My cousins are not interested in having kids (which is fine). I hit my 40s, and have no interest in most of the women around here, as they tend to be hard party girls, and Iām low key. In all likelihood, either Iāll be a āstepdadā or grandpa by the time I do marry, if I even find someone.
I havenāt found anyone Iāve wanted to be in a relationship with in the church- (most are still hard partying, or theyāre already married) and Iāve cut way back on going (if theyāre not doing some āonline onlyā COVID deal). I think Iād have to move out of the state, which is not an option. The few women Iām interested in, I donāt see much, and I have no clue if theyād be interested, though I doubt it.
I'm ready for work... lol, masks or not.
That's what I have to do first and foremost, get business back on full gears, that's my priority, and it will take a lot of my time and resources, once I have that under in control, then I will have the time for something else, or someone else.
But I've been here before and sometimes you just encounter someone that you just can't let go pass by. Life happens.
Iām not comfortable taking off my mask especially since I havenāt gotten a cold in awhile ! A sore throat is unknown to me these days and Iām loving it !
Dating hasnāt been hard these days because whether itās a mask or not Iāve gotten to know men. I feel protected with my mask and I donāt feel like the whole world is staring at me.
Life is better when you have a pimple on your face or your wisdom tooth pulled and you have an excuse to cover your face.
I got the second shot the end of March and two weeks after that I pretty much stopped wearing the mask. I have been to Lowes and Home Depot and some local stores and so far nobody said anything to me. I wore it to get past the front desk at the gym but left it ni the locker room after that.
Iāve been fully vaccinated so I normally donāt wear it. Iāll put it on at the doctorās office or if a store or building has a mask requirement to respect their policy though. I was seeing someone throughout the pandemic anyway. We just couldnāt go out and do a whole lot but things are starting to change.
I haven't worn a muzzle u less it was required by a store even then I'll get them to bring it out to me. cuZ surgical masks are useless to protect against anything other then blood spatter that's what they are for stupid you need a full face NBR mask that's good for bio nerve and radioactive to be of any protection so i refuse to wear a mask and when i do it's of the thinnest most arid fabric possible
Here in Texas most have stopped wearing, even with signs in shops and restaurants. No one says anything and after next month all the benefits and exemptions end. No work, no eat unless you can afford otherwise. The Couf is over, even if some are still getting sick.
I have been vaccinated and if I'm around friends who have been vaccinated, I don't wear a mask. I still wear a mask in stores because people can't tell that I've been vaccinated by looking at me. So to be a team player I wear a mask. No big deal.
I was on a date the other evening and she has been vaccinated. We didn't wear masks.
Unfortunately I'm in the most infected city in north america right now so I'm going to have to hold off a bit longer. Some girls don't seem to get it, I'm always being asked out to play and I'm like lady... I know you want the D but have you not seen the news, or the emergency alert on your phone. Lordy!
I wore a mask to the grocery store last night and that's just a comfort decision not knowing who is out there not being honest with themselves. I think every customer I saw wore one except for one and the cashier didn't which was fine, she was nice and we talked a bit as she checked me out.
The popular stores like hot topic and American eagle in the outdoor mall I went to recently still require them. Considering teens work at these stores more often than not and may still not been fully vaccinated it's a fine decision for now to protect them. I don't mind hanging with friends, dating, swapping tongues and stuff naturally.
I wear masks out unless Iām eating, at this point I donāt even go out much for quarantine and stuff. I hope people just suck it up and get the vaccine so I can go to school in person again
I haven't been wearing it in any stores but picking my son up from school I still have to and it sucks considering it's 90 degrees out and we are outside 😂
Some places I have forgotten to put my mask, but I try not to forget. Same as I wear gloves, wipe, wash, anything I bring in my house āļø
Wearinn gloves were makin me to sweaty at the casino lol. But i still do the other stuff you mentioned
Safety in numbers, better to be safe then sorry āļø
@PaynefulPleasures at the last thing you said and the first thing you said about disinfecting... i have always already done this before this began
@SandandWaves I did too especially when I'm done work my outdoor shoes stayed outside I'd put them in a safe place so they don't get wet , always wipe food down or wash, I guess I'm OCD hahaha
I just see it as being careful
Yes when I worked at the hospital years back I never went into my house without changing first I just wanted to be cautious
and that's okay
people been walking around maskless here since May 2020 and now even more this May since too many trust in this vacc. On occasion iāll forget mine by accident but for the most part i still wear it. I prob won't get the vacc anytime soon
I wonāt be dating anyone anytime soon but Iāve absolutely been loving the masks. My nose can run in peace.
don't need to wear it at the dentist office before my mouth is open.
ER. dr said I can take it off when I was in room a few times.
one store i was out of breath... the store boss told me to keep the mask off.
there's only a few places I was ever masking to begin with: the barber shop, grocery store, and airplanes (where it was required, and still is for airplanes), and the office. All of those except planes rescinded their mandates, so unless I fly a plane, the masks have been permanently shelved.
As for me Iām slowly taking it off when I head out to public places & for the most part I still wear it. On the job itās mandated & although some employees are challenging the mandates I keep in mind that two of my coworkers are dead & as of yesterday another one of my coworkers are on a ventilator & she isnāt doing good.
No of course not Iām not gonna do that now. I live in Dade County not a small little country town
I hear Florida is not doing the mask thing anymore...
Most of time yes, itās only really going inside shops as such, then itās a choice of at what point from the car to the shop door you put it on.
we have the Indian strain banging through the UK, while not likely at risk, I really donāt want time off feeling shit.
we have a big work event for June, a big get together and then see if anyone gets infected lol.
my biggest concern is people being off sick, loosing one of my key software engineers would be a bugger.
I don't wear it much anyway n I'm meeting people without it
Nah. I don't care to. I'm fully vaccinated and can choose not to wear one. But I like hiding my face and the social distancing and shit. I don't know, feels like and introverts dream.
No, I can't take off my mask until I free the princess from the castle.

Heck yeah! Just got back from a 3 hour concert last night - maybe 3% had their masks on, and this is in an auditorium with many musicians blowing into their instruments (no double entendre intended). !
We are nowhere near that where I live. Almost no one has gotten their second dose of the vaccine yet, and the number of people infected is still really high. Masks and social distancing are still gonna be the norm for a while. I'd be surprised if it was less than another year
You guys were getting dates before the pandemic? lucky!! xDD
I keep it off as often as I can. Only when I go into a store or go on public transportation do I use it. Otherwise no.
I've been fully vaccinated since January, so I'm definitely ready. I don't wear it at work now, but to the store and whatnot I still wear it.
I'm never getting that bullsh*t vaccine, so I probably won't be taking off the mask, even not living in the US right now.
Yes. And if I even bother to think about the lunatics, I just laugh and remember all their insane rantings about how masks were somehow going to overthrow democracy, and the evil government would never let us take them off and this was the new normal for ever and ever...
The world must be a confusing and scary place for those paranoid crazies.
Only put it on when I have to. It's become the progressive's badge of honor - you're among the people that comply if you do. The rest realize they do nothing, plus we doubt authority and resist anyway. It's all political theater. Just look at Fauci. Fake-Fauci. LOL
Ready yes, do I trust it nope! I am fully vaccinated but there is still a slim chance getting sick.
Oh no it is compulsory to wear a mask in my country.
Gave up dating entirely when I turned 30.
It's just not any fun for me.
I'm not shy, I'm tall, get and attractive so I was almost never rejected , I just didn't like doing it.
I grew to resent being FORCED to do all the work initiating a relationship and have a natural objection to double standards.
At a certain point, my desire to have a companion and a family were outweighed by my hatred of the one sided rules.
still have a mask on where I am, Don't think we're allowed to take them off as of right now
Not allow to at work. Other times, just wore for show.
I'm not vaccinated so I'm keeping my mask on. I don't have to worry about dating.
I have not worn a mask.
I refuse to wear the slave collar of the New World Order.
I'll take the mask off when regulations re mask wearing are lifted. I might still keep wearing a mask in crowded places though.
Ready to take off my mask? Have been for a while, I'm sick of wearing them.
Ready to date? Ehhh... I'm good.
I found a boyfriend during a global pandemic which is unbelievable lol. In my country we are only supposed to wear masks indoors so I'm freely enjoying breathing freely as well.
I took it off plenty of times...
It's not like you're requires to wear it 24/7
Vaccines are never 100%. Thanks to anti-vaxxers, the virus endures. Best keep your mask on if you don't want to risk lives.
Lmao.
Here's a perfect example!
Itās always hilarious when the mask cult denies science.
Stop using words you don't understand, anti-vaxxer.
No and no
I not planning to date for a very very very long time
Only ever wore it where absolutely required, and no covid has had 0 impact on my personal life
Got my second shot and lost the mask this week.
I find it funny as fuck that one day "the science" said we needed to be masked after get the vaccine one day, then overnight "the science" said masks are not needed if you are vaccinated.
People in government are dumb fucks.
Neither am I ready to take off my mask nor am I ready to date.
Maybe once things start to settle down and I get vaccinated, I could take off the mask.
But dating, no thank you, do not want to step into that crazy world.
I took my mask off and went into a supermarket. I saw news in NY that vaccinated people can take it off. But I was dumb because I'm in LA.
People just had strange looks on their eyes but no one said anything.
Except one guy at the next store I went to said "Need a mask?"
Yes! Here in Tennessee, most of us are able to go to shops and restaurants without masks now! Even some businesses are not requiring employees to even wear masks! Everything is returning back to normal! I am LOVING it!!!
Yes, I've taken my mask off plus I've taken my clothe's off too. 💞
100% Iām fully vaccinated and Iām following the CDC guidance so yes, I stopped wearing a mask last Wednesday.
I've been fully vaccinated for over two weeks, so I have stopped wearing a mask in most situations.
The answer is NO. Not yet. The cases have to come down in my country first. More people need to get vaccinated.
I never even put it on
lol
you are all satanic idiots
going to hell
I have in many places since Iām already vaccinated , places are letting you now if you show proof
Nope can't take it off until the covid-19 disappears...
Yep! This is the first week where i live that the mandate has BEEN LIFTED its been lovely.
