Girls, should a man ever insist after a woman rejected him?

Here is my experience:
So far I have not explored to attempt to woo/seduce women I barely know ( by this I mean someone I met in a Club, or public place...)
I have only proposed to two different girls that somehow were in my social circle before, say we were aquaintants in the past with no special interaction and then we reconnected. We share lots of things in common, interests, education and stuff like that. So, that is what makes me see them as very good potential partners. That is what Im looking for in a partner.

Both girls give me the bulshit "you are a great guy... bla bla bla" and after the rejection I can tell they still want to keep me around. They do things that make me confused.
I, on the other hand, want to move forward and not waste my time entertaining thoughts about them changing their minds later on.

They are great people I would love to have around, but, now that I am single, I think it is best for me to focus on moving forward.

The word NO does have a bit of finality to it.

going past NO will result in the person adding the Fuck off to the sentence.

if that does not work, then if she has friends, chances are these will step in and provide summary justice.

also the is an option of a restraining order.

a girl in our social group had a run in with a guy that did not understand the NO word.

(I missed the fun as was on holiday) some of the guys in my social mix, explained this and exactly what the word defenestration means, apparently he made a nice noise and the bottom and picked up a new nickname of ‘Thud’.
