This guy is so hard to read! Can anyone shed light on his intentions? Any answer is appreciated?

So this guy is a year younger than me, I graduated high school in 2020 and I'm working full time, he just got out of high school this year. I met him at a church conference. He's been friends with this girl that also graduated high school this year. When we all went as a group to this thing he was just acting really nice. Like he would do stupid stuff like say "your hand is so small" and hold his up to mine to compare. Or joke about social distancing and get really close to me. He was taking pictures of me (bc he's a photographer) but also of her. He even got up and got me a water. She was pretty flirty with him and told me she likes him and asked me to ask him if he felt the same for her. When I asked him he asked why I was asking I said "I just feel like you guys have a connection, but maybe I'm overthinking" and he said "probably" I like him but she does too. I'm wondering if this is just a guy who's friendly and likes female attention or actually likes me. I would love to hear what people think :) thank you!

I think he just doesn't know how his feelings work yet. He definitely mostly just likes the female attention. You *could* go and try with him, but chances are it would be a very short lived relationship or that he'd end up being unfaithful. He needs to discover his own emotions first before he can have a serious relationship. From what you said, he reminds me a lot of how I used to be. That being said, one of my biggest regrets from then was not admitting I liked someone. Which also was because I didn't understand my own emotions yet, and I was unsure about it.

They have a connection, having graduated together. (The same year, and obviously know each other). But remember, affairs of the heart will sometimes take precedence over the thought processes.

Well, he asked you why you were asking him about the other girl. Just try to be there so he knows you like to be around him then without saying anything. I hope that helps.
