I’ve been talking to this guy for about 5 months we hit it off pretty quickly he’s 33 and I’m 22. He is in Florida and I lived in Colorado, my family talked about moving to Florida which was quite a surprise. 5 months later I ended up moving and it was getting pretty serious. The week I got here he decided to book a room for this breakfast inn place. This is when I started to get worried cause why book a hotel room for the first time meeting? I texted him and told him I wasn’t ready for sex and he was chill with it even apologized if booking the room seemed too foward so I went. Shorty after laying in the bed with him he tried rubbing down there I told him I couldn’t and it started getting awkward so I decided to get in the tub he then got in with me and things were fine until he decided to start fingering me and tried having sex again I said I can’t again and that’s when he finally stopped. The next day he dropped me off and texted me “I just got home” at this point I really didn’t know how to feel. I decided to confront him about it saying that I felt weird about the situation. He then apologized and basically summed it up to“ he thought I changed my mind and next time we chill it can be in a place without less temptations” I then just tried to move on, I thought we talked about it and got it out of the way but texting him just wasn’t the same we went from texting all day everyday to barely getting a reply from him. One night his friend started following me on Instagram I then messaged him asking who this is he then started saying that he met him at a concert and he’s chill. It threw me off bc I thought we were basically an item at this point and he didn’t care about his friend following me he even joked about how “ the Florida boys are finding me.”The next day I messaged him and asked him where he’s at telling him I don’t really feel like he’s interested anymore. He then replied the next day and said I was feeling it too it seemed

Yeah, he sounds like the wrong guy for you. You both are looking for different things it seems, even aside from the awkward hotel business. I don't think he's your soulmate, and I don't think you think so either. So why waste questioning anymore? Trust that seed of doubt.
be glad you made the connection... as connections are beautiful and imprtant. you don't have to sever anything or do anything extreme... but I would say change your mindset now about what you think of him in your life. He's not your man. Be friends, from a little distance. :)

Red flag alert wtf. Especially when he uses the word “temptation” after you’ve told him no. If they’re the type of guy to automatically expect you to have sex on the first meet or even the first few meets, they’re more interested in sex than they are in you.
