I don’t mean this to sound as shallow as it does lol, but looks are a thing so I just wanted to ask for guys’ opinions. Like if you see a woman you think is super attractive with a great body and face, super hot beautiful whatever, but you haven’t ever been able to hook up or date a woman like this, does it frustrate or depress you? Or do looks grow to not matter anymore?

Also if you want to add- do you still go for women that you consider out of your league if you hadn’t lucked out with any super pretty woman before? Or do you immediately just not try?

Sure there are a lot of very superficial and shallow men out there who only care about getting laid and counting their number of conquests, bragging about it, and the only thing they care about is sex. There are a lot of such men on this site, I have noticed.

Me, I sort of reject the premise that all men are just out there looking for trophies, the ultimate is to be with a model or something. That is just so shallow. I did date someone like that many years ago. She was empty headed, vacuous, selfish and couldn't even hold a conversation. She had a huge ego and everything was about her looks. Sex with her was boring. She was an idea, not anything real I lost interest in about 5 minutes. At the time male friends told me " you broke up with her? What are you crazy?". No, crazy would have been staying with someone like that just for some kind of bragging rights. Yech.

There are a ton of men out there who care just as much about what a person is like on the inside, and personally I don't care how hot a woman is, I will have zero interest if she is not intelligent and interesting to talk to, and is a real, authentic person who I can relate to.

Some of the hottest most awesome women are not the most obvious, fashion model beauties or look like a porn star, but how they are as a person more than makes up for them being maybe an 8 out of 10. Sex just for the sake of sex? It gets boring, its cold and empty. For me the best sex is with someone you get to know, that you care about each other, and it means a lot more than just getting off. And when the sex is over you still feel great hanging out with her.

I have never been frustrated or depressed because I could not hook up with whatever super attractive girl I see. My main criteria has never been purely superficial. I would try if I thought she was cool and I liked who she was on the inside. I would have no problem trying. But she has to have a lot more than just a hot body or I feel like I am wasting my time.

Back before I had figured out how to attract women, I was never really frustrated by the lack of female attention I was getting (I figured there was some reason I wasn't scoring, and I was right about that). The way it always struck me was as a point of intellectual curiosity, like what's the ingredient I'm missing. The thought never occurred to me that the problem was with the girls. What DID frustrate me a little bit was the lack of usable feedback. I'd get a lot of women saying things like "you're weird" or "you're annoying," but never anything I could use to change my behavior.

It was only after a friend's older brother pulled me aside and told me that the reason I was fucking up with women was because the person I was/am wasn't the same as the person I was portraying myself to be through my appearance. Now the thing I tell guys to do is focus being the kind of person they would want to touch/be touched by, because women have to ask the same question when guys approach them. Why do I want to touch that that girl? Why do I want to hold her, kiss her, run my hands through her hair? Why do I want to smell her, and what do I enjoy smelling on her?

Women are asking all those questions in reverse about men and men need to understand that women already spend a lot of time and effort to be appealing, so they are hoping to find men who put effort into being appealing as well. Men need to replicate some of what women do, and it's not unreasonable stuff. You wouldn't believe the looks I get from men who don't realize that's not unusual for women to have a 3 or 4 step skincare routine that that they do every day as a simple matter of course. Meanwhile, we roll out of bed, blast our bodies with boiling hot water and rough soap, throw on a wrinkled t-shirt and eat breakfast.

Understand, most men find most young women attractive. In fact I've never dated anyone I found very attractive other than my ex wife as I was never good at asking women out (she asked me) all I wanted was a partner who loved me and took reasonable care of herself.

After my divorce I tried online dating , but to be honest the only women that responded were so unattractive I doubt I could have sex with them. Part of the problem is I'm from a city where most guys are well over six foot tall. Unfortunately most women around here weigh more than the men. It's quite common tubes a six foot five guy with a six pack who works out daily dating a 259+ pound women with missing teeth.

By the time I left the city I was over thirty and had given up on women. Suddenly I'm getting attention, but I'm not interested.

Understand, when I was married she didn't pay any bills, didn't cook, never cleaned (she did her own laundry that's about it) and I was ok with that given my choices. Considering I was lucky to have a girl at all in this area i was willing to take any abuse to avoid being alone and the chance to have a family.

At this point I've become bitter and depressed and actively avoid women.
As far as attractive woman go, I look away..

I like real. The flaws make the women. A woman who’s self conscious with her stretch marks is going to appreciate it when I complement them. There’s limits but otherwise average is hot hot is not and ugly is still ugly until your desperate or drunk enough.

I have never pursued a female I didn't think I could get and I haven't been rejected by a woman I pursued but maybe subconsciously I have avoided certain types of women. I can't say I have passed women out of my league cause I've had them. I haven't had to pursue too many either though cause I've had long relationships but if I feel a strong attraction to a woman and were both single then I will go for it. I haven't even tried to get close to someone for a few years. I'm about ready to get back out there though and with most meeting new people happening online I have to admit my confidence is a little down because I have been able to charm my past women in person. I think the worst thing is loving someone and losing her so I guess looks grow out as there's always gonna be someone hotter. If you love someone you usually want her and only only her and nothing else will do. If you're thinking ow maybe I want someone hotter then that's not a good sign if you're in a relationship. So to quickly answer, yes it's frustrating, it only frustrated me in my early teen years.
As you get older you realize how overrated looks are.
I'm not unattractive but sometimes girls act like their above my "league" here's the thing though, there are no leagues.
I'm a hard working, motivated, self-improving good intentioned person. They would be lucky to have me.
If they think I'm not good enough, that's their problem, I'm constantly doing better.

Just look at how sad Magic Johnson is next to gis wife - sure, she is good looking, seems kind, but also seems to like chatting to boys a tad over the limit.

Guys that worry about this, just realize that it's a numbers and confidence game. As long as you take care of yourself and know what you're worth and ONLY go after women you think are out of your league, you'll always end up with women that others consider out of your reach. I've never dated a chick that didn't blow people away. Check through the comments on here from women about how I look when they don't like what I have to say, I've still dated models, gymnasts, high level athletes, and strippers.

I might look average, but in reality I'm way more that and most people know it.

Sort of but I also see them as abrasive people because of the lifestyle they live. And the fact that I’m interest also shows that other guys are interested which kills their appeal.

Take Belle delphine as an example. Just viewing content it’s apparent that she’s insanely attractive, without knowing anything about her you could suspect she’s toxic. Then when you see more stuff, the nude stuff, and hear about the bath water thing and all that, you realize she is absolute cancer.

That’s basically attractive women: Repulsive and attractive at the same time.

For approaching, I don’t try anymore. When I have done it, it apparent that I become another face in a crowd of guys. Not a fan of that. Plus they usually take approaching for granted. So that also makes them seem weak and not respectable.

Finding women with attractive looks isn't the problem; the problem is how many are emotionally unstable, carry lots of baggage with them, or just outright aren't interested in a relationship leading to marriage or starting a family, which to me, finding someone for that purpose is the only real reason for dating in the first place.
