+1 yI don't think I could. Nothing against them. So much of what I find attractive about the female body is nuanced and subtle down to skeletal structure in ways where I think the technology still isn't quite there yet to fully pass. I have found pictures of transwomen attractive in photos but it's another thing to see them in person, hear the nuanced differences in their voices.
I might also have at least a subconscious desire to have biological children, and although it could misfire and still be attracted to an infertile ciswoman, it's only one component of a complex holistic package that makes me find her attractive and want to choose her as a lifelong mate.02 Reply- +1 y
I find too many of such components missing in the holistic package, at least with the current technology, in all transwomen I've encountered so far.

I could certainly be friends, even best friends, with one.

+1 yThey'd have to look like a proper attractive woman, feminine, as well be right in terms of personality and behaviour.
Even then, no certainty, because I'm not attracted to males and them being born as one may still be enough for me to reject.00 ReplyGod made them male and female. He never made any trans. Which is why every trans person should go to the manufacturer. You think you are a girl in a male body, talk to God about it. I did when I wrestled with thoughts like that and he confirmed my gender.
Knowing what I do know now, I won't date a trans for any reason under the sun.117 Reply
Asker+1 yWhen you can back this up with religious text and successfully defend your argument your reasoning will be considered.
Asker+1 y1. Cite source
2. Your point is invalid as you as conflating sex and gender
3. Leaning on this argument permits one to disprove the existence of an infallible god as intersex people exist (born with both anatomies) and therefore either god made a mistake in their creation or made a mistake in the text- +1 y
Matt19:4 and Mark 10:6
Trans is a gender that scripture calls non existent.
I have seen a guy with two penises. A girl with two vaginas. Heard of people with both organs.
And I know that is a work of darkness to throw that soul into Hell forever.
Best thing to do with that is to go to the manufacturer and ask Him what gender you are. I know I am a boy not because I have a dick between my legs. I know because God called me a boy. So they have access to the same God to figure out who they really are irrespective of their confusing body.
Asker+1 yBy your standard you are going to Hell as well, you just lied, about the Word of God no less, and bearing false witness is right up there with murder as none of the commandments are greater than the others.
The Bible makes NO such statement that "transgender is a nonexistent gender"... It makes no direct reference to transgender whatsoever.
Furthermore, you have just price. That your word even write word on matters that are, to you, of great import is the word of a liar and therefore of no value.
To given you the benefit of the doubt here, though, I will permit your inaccurate reference and accept it as accurate, as you are claiming to be the expert on the matter...
You have stated that the Bible states that God made man male and female, therefore nothing outside of that binary can exist, is this your premise?
Also, do you believe in an all knowing, all powerful, and infallible God?
Asker+1 yThen logically it would then follow that
IF A) there is an all knowing, all powerful, infallible God, then the Bible must be perfect, as an all knowing, all powerful, infallible God would not permit, not would He be able to permit, there to be an erroneous version of His devine word to be received and recorded and spread. In short, if the Bible is the word of such a God, then it must be perfect.
And
IF B) Gender and sex are one and the same
And
IF C) the Bible mandates that there be only 2 genders/ sexes
Then
IF D) intersexed person's such as chimera, xxy, xxyy, and hermaphrodites exist naturally
THEN premise C must be incorrect, and therefore B or A must be fallacies as well
You can wiki chimera in genetics, I actually know a woman who has this condition, please feel free to research these conditions.
So if she exists then either God doesn't exist, or your understanding of gender as it relates to sex is flawed.- +1 y
Jesus also said something. He said "in the beginning, it was not so". There is a Devil who enjoys sowing confusion and who is responsible for the gender crisis most people are going through and even the sexual orientation too.
I hid under homosexuality because of emotional baggage. Wore ear stud just to repel girls and was in love with shemale porn. Was on my way to being gay and thank God He didn't allow me become that.
The fact that a girl loves girls or boy boys doesn't mean they were made to, they have to be born again to know who they really are.
Asker+1 yI'm not addressing homosexuality, or even gender, here... Diverting from the logical problem doesn't make it go away.
So, how do you address the issue of intersex person's with the statement that God made them male and female (establishing the binary)
Asker+1 yBut then that begs the question which cuts to the very existence of the Christian God, which honestly is not a discussion either of us truly wish to address... My earlier proposition was simply that your understanding of the text, specifically in that gender and sex are the same, is a human fallacy... In short I was trying to offer you the out that YOU were incorrect instead of God.
The question here which is begged though is how an all powerful, all knowing, infallible God could create a world which, even if it began perfectly He KNEW would be susceptible to sin?
Point B) if we accept the premise that intersexed people are born the way they are because sin entered the world, that things were not originally that way, would the same reasoning be able to be applied to explain that homosexual and transgender people are born homosexual or transgender? The common argument that they cannot be is that "God doesn't allow people to be born that way", implying that He has a hands-on approach to the development of the unborn. The existence of intersexed people, through your argument, would then therefore negate the hands-on theory for a hands-on stance, thus allowing homosexual and transgender person's to truly be born homosexual or transgender.- +1 y
God made man with potential but not with perfection. It is documented in Romans 8. The creature was made subject to futility in hope. God hoped that when man came to himself, he would choose God. Man was made with the power of choice. Even angels have that same ability. Jesus did not have that ability.
Man is a creature that can't be made perfect without the man asking or seeking for it.
And all of this is because God wants an noncoerced love or devotion. He wants the man to yearn for Him, himself. Before man fell, the rescue for man already existed which is Jesus. Jesus did not come on the scene physically until these last days but Jesus was revealed to Abraham, David and a host of others.
As for homosexuals born that way. All humans born into this world are born sinners with the nature of sin and this is the reason people say I was born gay and they are right but not until they are born again, they can't know who they really are.
Some of the apostles were into homosexuality before they got saved. Some of them were whoremongers before they got saved. This is why men have to be born again because all the men born were born wrong.
Asker+1 yIf man cannot be made perfect, then the deity that created man cannot be all powerful, an all powerful deity could create anything.
- +1 y
I understand what you mean but man wasn't made perfect which is what Romans8 says. Man was made in such a way that he has to decide if he wants to be perfect or not. All the people destroyed in the old testament by God were given the opportunity to choose perfection even after death. 1 Pet3:18-21.
Jesus is the proof that God can create a perfect being. God didn't make man like Jesus. Men were made in the image of God but men were made living souls while Jesus was made a life giving spirit. This was done in hope that when man comes to himself, he would choose God over everything. So an all powerful and infallible God made Jesus and Jesus is and was flawless.
Asker+1 yGod didn't create Jesus, Jesus IS God
Then if an infallible, all knowing, all powerful deity created a world with sin, with people who, if they do not follow rules they may or may not be aware of, will suffer the eternal pain described by Dante, then they certainly are not a merciful deity. For if they are not aware of the rules then they cannot know to follow the rules.- +1 y
Check 1Cor15:45 and John3:16. Jesus is God but He is not God the father. He is the offspring of God. Check 1Jn5:5.
God wants men to choose Him and also choose everlasting life. Also in John 1 it says Jesus lights up every man that comes into the world. Meaning all men encounter Jesus prior to birth. So "I don't know the rules" is erroneous.
+1 yNot even if they were indistinguishable from a woman. I guess I'm shallow like that.

Asker+1 yShallowness is not cool but not uncommon it something anyone should be upset about... The person who missed out the most will be you, but if you're happy, then that's fine.
- +1 y
In this case, I could never be happy with them. So I don't think anyone of us would be missing out. Plus I have other quarrels with relationships in general that just complicates things. I don't even wanna get in a relationship with someone of the opposite sex as of now.
- +1 y
@Cherry234 - Thanks for the kind words, but I personally think it can be said that it's shallow but it would justifiable. My decision would just have one more element of discrimination involved. And since a decision wouldn't be trying to determine someone's overall worth as a human, then it wouldn't be immoral, unethical, illegal, etc.
I say it's justifiable because relationships are always discriminatory. And assuming people's definition of the relative "depth" is reasonable & similar, they're mostly based on surface-level attractors. Things that don't alter the inside, but can enhance it. And in fact, we thrive as a species because of it. We wouldn't be mating so much otherwise. Or we would but it wouldn't be in our favor in terms of adapting to survive. If anyone doesn't agree, then they're only kidding themselves.
They'd also be kidding themself if they didn't think they were all shallow. You can find out if they're shallow with simple experiments. Like, take an extremely ugly, deformed, & diseased person that doesn't smell nice and ask someone if they'd date them. If they're being honest, they'd probably say no because the person isn't attractive to them. But if you took that same person & completely changed their appearance, health, & smell to be very attractive, then the person (if they're being honest) would want to date them. It's shallow, but for good reason. Our species didn't get this far by mating with deformed & diseased people.
So, I think that when topics like these are so involved with a person's emotions, they tend to become more inclined to point out the factors they have a problem with while ignoring the many other factors involved. Factors that even often have a great hold/are a major determiner for their decision-making. But many that have the victim stance aren't likely going to see their involvement in it all. They won't see how they're shallow, just how others are. - +1 y
@Cherry234 - Thanks, and yeah I wish there were more people that can see that we're shallow for our benefit & the benefit of our species. But it's not a very marketable thing to admit & feelings can easily be hurt so people will often have the blue-pilled approach. Understandably so, but for someone that really values the truth over anything else, it can be annoying.

Just being flippant. If the guy looked really good as a girl, I would, which means, they would have to have had hormone treatments young. It wouldn't care about the penis, if they really looked like an attractive girl. I guess, I am kinda bi, but, I do not like men, unless they were like this.
Yes but that's unlikely.

I don’t need that load of confusion in my life
Asker+1 yThat's a reasonable, respectable argument. Though, many transpeople have their lives far more together than the general public as they are forced to be deep thinkers, and an abnormal percentage have a well above normal IQ.
Asker+1 yThough I will say that that is a respectable, and honest answer and I thank you for it
- +1 y
Having an averagely larger IQ doesn’t mean you don’t have an overall confusing life. IQ doesn’t really mean anything past book smarts. Book smarts don’t make you a know it all and well put together at life.

Asker+1 yBeing straight or gay has nothing to do with it
Opinion Owner+1 yIt literally does.
Actual straight males do not want dick... in any form.
They want xx chromosome actual females with vaginas that can produce children.
Asker+1 yDo you watch porn?
Opinion Owner+1 yif you’re going to try and suggest because there is dick in straight porn, it somehow means straight me. like dick... you need a better scapegoat.
Like saying men get playboy for the articles
Asker+1 yMy point is simply that sexuality is not nearly as simple, cut and dry as you present it. That "straightness" or "gayness" is more about being attracted to masculinity, feminity, both, or neither than it is about bits and pieces because I can guarantee you would be far more attracted to me than my ex... A transman who is more masculine than most penis owning men, yet he has never had one.
Opinion Owner+1 yyes For women and gay men this is true, because you are more about feelings and personality. You are not nor ever will be a straight man.
Straight men do not think the way you do.
Anonymous(18-24)+1 yNope.
