How do women over 35-40 feel about younger guys? Are you interested if they approach you?

I always prefer older men because I'm just naturally attracted to men who are older than me.. but it's sad that I am still single and most men my age or older are already married and taken..

I never thought I would ever consider anyone younger than me, it just feels wrong but at this point if anyone is SERIOUS about a relationship not just to mess around and have sex.. I mean serious, I think I would but also sadly I feel most young guys who go for older women usually do it just to have fun while they find THE ONE to stay with...

I feel I'll stay single until I die.. this is so sad.. but I know there are many like me both men and women who never get a love story.. I just never thought it would happen to me.

Message to guys who are younger going for older, if you are just doing it for fun/sex/pass time, be honest about it with the woman, perhaps she is also looking for that and you both can have a good time, but in the rare case that she isn't, like me, it's not nice to waste someone's time and get them involved emotionally if you're not looking for long term and or serious relationships.. time is not given back ever.. be considerate. :/

I'll be honest: I don't much care for younger guys. Even in their late 20s, they're not quite mature yet, or know what they're looking for in a relationship. I've tried dating younger guys before and it never works out!

I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions out there, but I prefer dating guys my age or older.

I think I'd personally prefer someone closer to my age... In some ways age is just a number, but too much of an age gap would put you at different stages in life and relationship goals.
A guy in his 30's may have young children/still want children whereas I'm done raising children/having children, I'm at grandma/grandchild stage of life. If it was just a sexual relationship, age matters less but at heart, that's not really me..

I’m 35 my partner is 26 and we’ve been together for 2 years now. I like a younger guy he’s so energetic and he’s been easy to mould into the guy I want. My children are 13&14 and they adore him. He does everything with them like the trampoline parks, inflatables in lakes and lays football with my son. He likes the same things as them too but also some of the things I like as well so he fits in perfectly and he’s got more of what they are going through as teenagers as it was so much different from when I was one. I would definitely go for younger again

I did date a guy for awhile when I was in my early 40's, and he was turning 30. I don't think I can do that now. It was fun then, it boosted my ego thinking that a younger man was interested in me, but not anymore. I am now in my 60's and I dont think dating younger men is for me, no way no how.

I personally wouldn’t date a younger guy. No offence but I prefer older guys. My reason is that I would be extremely paranoid & insecure that he was only going to leave me in the end for a much younger prettier girl.

By the time I am 35-40, I would be interested in men 30-40. But I highly doubt a guy in his late 20s or 30 would be interested in me. Men get less attractive after 40. But frequently older women have to settle for less attractive men.

Men after 40 tend to be significantly less attractive than men in their 30s. Wrinkles and hair loss and weight gain are not attractive to me.

Even if I were 35-40, I would never find old to be attractive. And I think most people would agree with me on that. Evolutionarily humans have not evolved to find aging attractive because older people tend to produce less healthy offspring.

all I’m saying is , by a certain age , you will find that you're still riding motorcycles while he can’t even keep up with you in a walk in the park, you would have to constantly slow down for him. During vacations , you want to travel to 3 countries while he will want a quiet cruise with his fellow retirees. He might not even be able to fulfill you sexually.

Things change and often times women don’t see it coming until it’s too late. And if you’re 45, with 3 kids , it’s hard to get remarried at that age. So often times these women stay in these difficult marriages
