My girlfriend is Chinese and almost all of her friends are Chinese, so they usually converse in Mandarin. The only Mandarin I know is
Hello
I love you
Have you lost your mind?
I wish that she didn't spend so much of her time immersed in Chinese culture but I also realized that is who she is and I have no right to expect her to change (just like she can't expect me to stop eating fried chicken!)
I can never have a girlfriend. Would I have a girlfriend If I were in Paris?
I'm single Paris. If I were to have a relationship at this moment there's something that I would disapprove of but I would still be in the relationship.
@SteveSmith1985 I get you. Well I don't feel lonely because being in a relationship right now would be a mistake. However it does suck answering questions like these when you're single.
Those things are either multiplying or amplifying, I'm not sure which. 😠

Why is it that it's ok if the woman doesn't do something, but of the man doesn't do it, he gets chastised. Example, my SO often leaves her recliner up with her blanket messy on the seat. If I do that, she yells at me.
It's exactly the opposite at my house. I can't go for a ride with my husband in his car or his truck because the floor, seat, and dash are loaded with... stuff. He gets in my car and sees 2 water bottles and the complaining starts.
@TrueConfection OK, let's generalize. We don't like that the SO gets to complain about things that the other SO does, but it's okay for this SO to do the same thing.
I wasn't taking a stab at your wording. I'm sorry I came across that way.
I meant that I know what you mean (only... I'm the one who gets yelled at).
@TrueConfection I understood what you meant. The real issue that one of the couple complains about is when one complains about what the other does, but it's perfectly okay for them to do it... and they get upset of the other complains.
How does the old saying go? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Yes, the double standard.
Blah!!! My Fiance, @AviatorTom lol!!! xx
Maybe this is the beginning of a “honeymoon phase” but now knowing I’m going to get married, there is NOTHING that disturbs me in my relationship right now
Congratulations, Rob!
@Jamie05rhs thanks man!!👍
My wife disapproves of me smoking my (tobacco) pipe. I don't do it in the house, but she wishes I wouldn't smoke. Plus she hates the smell. It doesn't cause conflict, though. We get along really well.
Few things here and there, nothing serious. Understanding and communication is key. I have my things and the Mrs has her things. Our kingdom can go past that, no biggie
@Paris13 I only wish I had a relationship with something in it to disapprove of.
The tiny hairs he leaves all over the sink when he trims his beard!
I can help with that 😁. Am bearded and am a hygiene freak.
Out of one atm Paris. It's too complicated for words.
If you discuss it before and do not act on it first, you should be good.
I try to keep an open mind
I don’t believe in having male friends for the girlfriend it always comes back to haunt you
The fact that I don’t have one anymore.
The fact that the one I had ended with untimely death.
The fact that the only one I had possibly spoiled me from her being so perfect in every way.
There is nothing about my wife rthat I disapprove of.
Nope. Not right now. :)
Not in a relationship but I don’t know if there would be anything that I would disapprove of
Not sharing the drugs
He’s a lawyer and sometimes forgets I exist
