Should I take ok as an nice way saying no?

I asked her out to dinner on her birthday but already had plans which I kinda expect but followed up saying another time n response was ok.

So should I take that as a no or should I take ok as a ok n try to set something else up.

We talked in past for couple months then stopped then she contacted me with a invitation 2-3 months later.

Its really hard for anyone to answer this when they dont know much about the person or circumstances, plus i also dont have kids
