It Has been a damper. The restrictions between countries and even between states have made getting together with love ones difficult. Covid restrictions have been a challenge for relationships and yet it has thought us how to be creative in long distance relationships. Google duo telegram facetime etc has eased things. We have managed to have movies night, game nights, or date night via vid cam. When matters of the heart are concerned love will drives us to conquer any obstacles. I myself managed to arrange a get together on the rainbow bridge and with time I managed to travel into Canada to visit someone very dear to me. Yes covid has caused hiccups in relationships but when love drives us it fills us with stubborn determination that no natural or man made disaster will keep us from the ones our hearts long for 🥰😍💋💕!

My current girlfriend and I, who lives across a border 500 miles or 850 km away, started dating in August 2020. We COULDN'T have picked a WORSE time, NOT to mention both of us got Covid-19 (not from each other!). YET LOVE DOES conquer ALL! We are STILL in love and hoping to get together SOON!

I started dating my girlfriend last December, when covid had already been with us in the US for 9 months. We both got vaccinated as soon as possible but we also both tested and were negative. It never slowed us down at all. We are now living together.

IMHO it actually makes an LDR easier... both people have a legit reason to not see each other physically, and increased technology makes it easier to see each other virtually.
