Should we put single men in rehoming shelters?

Question

I recently went to a dog shelter with a friend and it was full of dogs of all shapes and sizes competing for your attention. And that gave me a great idea.
What if we put discarded men shelters like this? The recently divorced, the widowed, that 30 year-old guy who lives with his mother, etc?

Now I know what your thinking, there's lots of dating sites or these guys could just go to a club. But many of these guys go unnoticed on these sites as women filter out all but the cream at the top. But if we put them in kennels where you can actually get a good look and prod them a bit, I reckon most would stand a chance of finding a good home. After all you might want a pedigree dog but take a liking to a mongrel, so why wouldn't the same work for men?

hahahaha - Mixed kennels would be a far better idea , this way if they got out they may actually breed , this then brings in a third level of kennels ( as adoption has been made so difficult ) , in the kennels , all receive mandatory vaccination for everything , they are cleaned up etc. , quick view by the vet..
Sadly after 3 months the females would be nuited , as there has been too much breeding , all the males would be " on heat " screaming a crying out..
Its an exceptional idea , and has much scope for progression , prodding though the bars is no longer allowed , and in the " woman looking for men entry " there is a max weight to be allowed entry , no fatties.

In theory this would work but in practice... no one is going to pay for it or donate to its charity. I think better idea would be a register after several councilling sessions so someone can be accurately (as much as possible) write a description.

Relationships are a two way thing, this idea assumes men will accept the first woman who comes along and has pity on them.

I think where you coming from and I feel there is some point for it but instead of dehumanizing us single guys I´d rather suggest that society should find more places where you could get to know us because putting us in single rooms like in warehouse wouldn´t allow us to show you how we really are especially if there are just guys competing for female attention there wouldn´t be much of a change.
Because everything that you experience while online dating you would experience in these moments. Guys never show their true sides if they are surrounded by rivals looking for a potential mate that´s at best only showing one side of the coin.
Why not open up more single events?
by the way do you really wanna have a submissive guy totally dependent on you because that would be a consequence of such a scenario.

Yes, I can see how that might work. When you shop online it is hard to buy items like clothing without seeing them first. It is the same with online dating. People misrepresent themselves and submit pictures they fond on the internet. This would take all the guesswork out of the process.

I just hope you have one hell of a plan gather all the single guys for one of your shelters. Also be sure that everyone out gathering men know to walk away from a guy that does not want to go in. Because nothing is more dangerous then a cornered animal.

Most women think they are 9s and 10s while 6s at best. Even not so good looking and overweight women rate themselves 7s.

Now why would they go there, if they feel they would be dating down? As we know women hate doing that.

Social media has also played a huge part in frying peoples brains, male and female, expecting some crazy level mates/lifestyles etc. Unfortunately especially for the women.

They also tend to neuter a lot of strays as well. Any not found new homes or even 4Eva homes, could be to introduce Neutering as well.

There's definitely some very unattractive women on dating apps who couldn't get a date if they paid for it. The reason the ugly guys are single and desperate is because they won't date the ugly women.

Great idea. Let's put the discarded men on one side of the shelter and the discarded women on the other. Then, once a week, we can have a dance in the middle and the men and women can match up.
