My husband is a doctor, he is turning 28 this year. We have a son that will be turning 5.
Obtaining a doctorate typically takes about 8 years, 4 years of under grad 4 years of graduate school, and then if you are wanting to become an licensed MD another 3 years or so of residency. Mean while it usually only takes 7 years to become a lawyer, 4 years of undergrad and then 3 of law school.
So if you start college at 18 years old you should be able to graduate as licensed MD before 30 and become a lawyer by 25 years old. However since 1.8% percent of the US population has a doctorate degree and less than.4% are lawyers, adjusting the numbers for women in those professions that make up less that 2% of entire population with a doctorate or a law degree...

How many single Doctors or lawyers in their 30s do you know? Because the very few that I did know, didn't stay single for very long...

In addition, they don't ever seem to know what they actually want and that's a huge turn off. Older women are usually more capable of carrying a decent conversation and don't seem to be as materialistic as the 21-25 year olds.
