Boyfriend likes his female friends' posts on Instagram but won't like mine? Why does he act this way?

He always clicks 'like' on his friends' posts but now that I've posted a pic, he won't like it. It's pic of my football group. Why would he act this way?

That’s weird… I couldn’t be in a relationship with a guy being so absorbed and focused on my friends business and not even paying attention to my character and self representation of who I am especially being his girlfriend, it doesn’t show respect either. Social media is really fucking up a lot of relationships in general not just romantic but also friendships, family ones etc. Its so stressful and draining mentally I swear.. I feel like partners should be willing to give it up if they truly love the person too.

Girl I know this is something relatively very small in the grand scheme of things but for me it’s a giant red flag. Any boyfriend that truly loves their girlfriend and is in a normal healthy relationship with her would like your photos. Him not doing so and taking it a step further to like your friends pics is so unnecessary and can’t really be explained in any logical way.

I wouldn’t even ask him to like your pics. Let a guy do whatever he wants and he will show you exactly what he wants to do…

Simple. Do not demand that he use social media the way you do. It’s his social media, there is no duty involved in what to like or who to follow, etc. Even if he didn’t follow you but spent every day with you, that is completely fine. The real life is what’s important. Unless he uses his media to be unfaithful or cause harm, then chillax and focus on what he does in real life

If he doesn't talk to them a lot and pays attention to you then you're just overthinking things, especially over a like button. If he sees them in real life then you should get worried because he has you to be with and if he does you should be with him to show you are together. He shouldn't be with them alone and only you alone because having sex with friends is like having sex with his brother
