You think Il get a second chance?

This girl I like we were talking and she came over to my place and we had a really good time we didn’t kiss or anything like that but we were still touchy and flirty. So recently I told her I like her and wondered if she felt the same way. She said she has no interest in dating because I breached her reputation a couple months ago. I apologized and I told her I was sorry and never meant to ruin her reputation I got really excited with my friends and it must have made collateral damage but I told her it was never my intention to hurt her like that and I don’t expect her to forgive me right away and she says
“i hung out with you after you said the things, you still can be a nice person but that’s just something that i will have against you in the back of my head “ and I told her I didn’t want her to hold a grudge on me but I don’t expect it right away and I hope this gets behind us and she replies with an “ok” do you think in time I could get a second chance?

I feel alright I apologized to her but thats all I can do you know? Can’t control how she feels maybe in the future it will get better but Im not gonna focus too hard on that
