Feeling pushed away from best guy friend by new girl he's dating?

I have a best friend and he's a guy. I'm married and he and my husband were friends first and we just clicked and are very close friends now. My husband knows 100% of our relationship and know when we talk or hang out and is fine with it. Well this guy just started dating someone and she is obviously trying to push me away and the sad thing is it's working. He wanted to hang out yesterday and I didn't want to and today he wants to and I don't want to either. She is pushing me away by being so in my face about everything and marking her territory with him. She send me msgs when they are together and send me pics of him. It's very obvious what she's doing. Do I just back off and let it happen? It makes me very sad because he is one of my best friends 😔
