Boyfriend has hard time saying the l word to me?

I have been with my boyfriend on and off for about 5 years due to him having a problem being open with his feelings for me. He has never told me he loves me like ever … he shows it yes but he won’t say it to me for instance i was talking to him about our relationship and I asked why are u still with me and he looked at me and said “it’s literally only one answer to your question you can keep playing stupid if you want to” rolled over and went to sleep. I just would like for him to say it even if it’s once but he just won’t it’s super effen weird !

You're dealing with a person who normally will never says things like that. But those kind of people usually shows the love more than the ones who say it. Actions speak louder than words anyways.
