Is it common/ acceptable for a man whose in a relationship to think about other women?

I'm not on about celebrities either I mean like women they actually know. For example a neighbor, friend of a friend, co worker. Is it wrong if they think about her and see her as attractive

It’s VERY common for men/women in relationships to think other people are attractive. It’s not cheating to think “this person is attractive.” I wouldn’t be surprised if it was also common to think of other people in a sexual way too.


However, the term “acceptable” usually depends on the relationship boundaries. Obviously, you can’t control someone else’s thoughts, you can’t tell them what they can or can’t think about, so if someone is thinking of another person sexually/romantically, or thinks they’re attractive, oh well…


The issue that many people find unacceptable is if think thoughts turn into actions. If someone in a monogamous relationship is thinking about someone else in a romantic or sexual manner, and plans to approach that person for romantic or sexual manners, that is unacceptable and can be considered cheating, to some people.

The more you try to control a person the more it will get complicated
Learn to be happy with yourself and in love with yourself
If he so happens to leave, let him leave... you dont wanna be in a relationship with someone who doesn't love you.
You dont need to control someone who is in love with you, besides... Isn't it more romantic if he decides to stay with you with his own free will and not because you have him in shackles.

It's normal for guys to find other women attractive finding people attractive isn't the issue

It's when they do something about that Attraction it becomes an issue

Anyway the merit of the man shouldn't be based off of whether or not he is or is not attracted to someone but rather how dedicated he is to his relationship
