Well your 37 so I would think by that age a guy would have the courage and emotional maturity to ask a girl out, and if he doesn't then I would think he lacks confidence or is not interest in you.

So for me at 37 I would assume he is shy or uninterested and if you are not into shy guys I would move on. If you are into shy guys and especially this guy particular guy, then I would ask him out if I was you and quit waiting on him to get his shit together. Sometimes that is all it takes for a man to find his courage.

He asled me if I knew anyone. I saod only me whonis divorced. Then he started saying he was looking for someone with all the attributes I posesses. He was looking at me deep in my eyes while saying it. He's always been a bit shy with me.
