Girls, will you consider someone a weird cat guy if they foster, or volunteer to help kittens?

A lot of women consider guys with cats creepy. Earlier I have not got such a good response from women after mentioning taking care of kittens on dates and if they aren't animal lovers then, received not-so-good comments.
