What is the reason why most guys are turned off about dating a girl with kids?

You have to win over the heart of two/three/four people.

Just winning the heart of the girl is hard enough, but now you also have to win over the heart of the kids, and its really tough if the kids won't like/accept you.

Also a single parent is usually super protective and won't let anyone into their lives.

So its playing the dating game on extreme hard mode.

I think a big part of it is because it's a decision you have to take very serious. You are not only dating the girl, but everything that comes with it. I think it's good that guys who don't quite feel ready for a family are a bit more hesitant.
