Without directly asking them, how do you find out if someone is looking to date?

I ask this cause I met a super cool woman a couple weeks ago. She’s been on vacation for the last weeks and a half. When she gets back, I asked if she would like to golf with my friends and I and she would be down. This is one of her hobbies. She friended me on IG, I checked her page out, there’s no signs of past relationships on her page. She’s 35but had the energy of a 25 year old. She mentions she’s “family first” on her page. She seems like such a catch that I’m surprised she’s not seeing anyone, is it possible that maybe she’s content being single and just having fun? How can I go about finding this out with being weird?

I guess where I am getting at is, if she’s not looking for something and she ends up wanting to be friends. How can I ask and it not be weird so we can continue being friends if she’s not interested.

You’re just asking if she’s single, which is a perfectly normal question. Stop being so nervous and ask her.

I know she’s single, what I can’t get is she wanting to stay single or has she just not found someone worth her time.
