What are the signs if a girl is leading you on or using you as the backup guy?

It’s been situations on multiple occasions where I’d go on dates but she claims she wants to take it slow and get to know me better but I’m not stupid. If you aren’t fucking another Guy definitely is , I even had a girl ghost me then text me 8 months later like wtf! It’s like women nowadays expect you to chase them and I’m not even a bad looking guy I’m also 6’4. I’ve kinda given up on dating tho it’s like every women I meet is already emotionally attached to a guy so they’re just looking for a text buddy or to be spoiled but no sex, fuck that. And women claim to have it harder in dating foh they definitely have WAY more options and advantages than men.
