Honestly I hate when people say this. First off, people aren’t going to like you more because you’re white, and then there are people who will like you more… but those people are usually misogynistic and white supremicists. It’s true, all those black men who tend to like white women more like them more because they are more “fetishized” by black men, they are assumed to be more innocent and such and that comes from a bit of a misogynistic and racist mind set that white women are “better”, and trust me don’t waste your time on those kinds of men (I don’t mean black menin general, I mean that there are men of color especially black men that have internalized racism that white women are better) Because they end up bossing those women around and gaslighting them. On top of that when most white women hear them talking shit about black women they leave. There is no way any of us are going to listen to that. And then there are white supremicists. Which are fucking annoying… and I’m very sure you would never ever want to date. Also don’t connect white with automatically being skinny and beautiful, cause trust me not all whites are that way at all. We are not by default skinny and beautiful. This is one of the reasons EDs are highest occurring in white women. Also why would you even want to be white? Whatever you are you are beautiful… and keep in mind that white women constantly burn their skin and risk skin cancer to get tanner and darker skin, so many black face or Asian fish, they get lip injections to have bigger lips, body injections to have curvier bodies or they starve themselves and so on and so forth. There’s a reason. Because many white women are insecure in being white and greatly wish they were not. They strive to look like other races because many of us have a hatred of our own heritage. European beauty standards greatly effect white women because they are the most expected to fit them, just like you said when you connected white with skinny and beautiful. What about all the meatier women? What about the white women who aren’t as beautiful? Sure in America white women do have more privilege then women of color, but don’t try to wish to be them cause you are enforcing the problem. I am a white woman, I have wished I was a man many times, which is for a different reason that one being misogyny and sexism, and I have also wished I wasn’t white many many many times. I have wished I had more colorful culture, prettier clothes, darker and richer skin, more textured hair, bigger noses and ethnic noses, bigger lips… cause to be honest those women are so gorgeous. It can be hard especially for non white women in America’s society, but please please please don’t wish you were white. In the end if it’s the right guy it’s not going to change anything babe :) you’re gorgeous just the way you are.
