I realized, as a black girl, that I‘ll never find my happy ending.
I will never date and enjoy my dating life, will never marry or have kids.
I will probably die alone.
So I wish that I was white, no matter how long, even for a second I would to anything to be (come) white. I stopped a whitening cream I used to buy but now I‘m considering starting to start using it again. I just want to be white so bad, just having beautiful long hair and a normal life without prejudices, discriminstion or (verbal) attacks from cops and other people. I just want to be freaking normal.
What can I do? Does a treamtent exist to become white somehow?

Sure, you might have more struggles, depending where you lie, your income, etc. But that happens to some degree everywhere. I live in a mostly "white" area. I'm sure there are racists (there will probably always be racists, anywhere)... and there are a lot of snobs in the area where I live. But the snobs (most who aren't racist)... they're snobby about anyone who isn't in "their crowd." It doesn't matter your skin color... just how much money/power/influence you have. And it's tough trying to work around that, even for me, and I've had some blessings.
Be proud of the good (whatever it is) that you do, and keep striving for the best. Yeah, statistically, you might have had an easier time with some things if you were white, depending on the area/culture you live in, but there are some great things about being black...
I think anyone could say "I think life would be easier if..." Being black doesn't stop you from much these days, if you're in westernized society, and you're wise about what you do in life.
Statistically, while the news sensationalizes things, there are a lot of blessings to living now, no matter who you are, where you are... statistically, you're going to live longer than your grandparents. Statistically, you'll be taller. You have access to better food. In your life, there probably has been handicap accessible stores. We have access to all kinds of information that is fairly easily accessible (on cell phones).
Dating is hard. Not necessarily because you're black, though I won't completely discount the possibility. But... Dating is tough on a lot of people. I have a hell of a time with it, and I'm white and middle class.
You might be surprised. It may BE quality over quantity in your case. It might not happen till later. If you meet the right person for you, that's still a success if it happened at 28 vs if it had happened at 21. Maybe you've just dodged a lot of bullets. I know some of the girls I thought I would have wanted to date in high school, if I had been successful with them, I might be a more messed up person. I know with one girl, I could have easily died in an accident (she drove drunk a lot). I didn't find out for yers that 1/2 of them lost their cuteness and lost their minds from the drugs and drinking and partying that they were able to hide behind the facade of being "a nice girl." But it caught up with them.
So, maybe you'll luck out. Maybe you are and you don't even know it now. Maybe it will happen in 10 years. Maybe a year. Maybe never. Just cultivate a life where you'll be attractive to the types you'd want to attract and who will give you the best chances of having a happy healthy life, even if it doesn't happen. Good luck.

First off, shame on any and everyone that's insulting or putting the asker down- people like you are part of the problem! What if this question isn't a joke and she is serious? She's on here pouring her heart out, looking for sympathy and advice and some of you have the audacity to insult her? Wow.
Some of you really need to reevaluate your lives, and how what you say might affect others.
Asker: I empathize with you; I do. While I do think whitening your skin is VERY extreme and unnecessary, I get what you're saying to an extent. When I was younger, I used to wish I was white as well! To me, white girls were so pretty. I loved their hair compared to my nappy hair. Their eye colors (because how many black women do you know have naturally blue or green eyes?). And just their fairer complexion. Yeah, I envied them as a child.
Statistically speaking, black women are considered the least attractive ethnicity on all dating sites- and yes, there is plenty of data to back that up. Even on here when people ask questions regarding, "What race are you least attracted to?" or, "What race are you least likely to date?" Black women comes up as the majority response almost EVERY SINGLE TIME. Don't believe me? Do a search for those questions on here and see the results.
And yes, I realize that is not the case for all men! But dating for black women is not always easy. But not many people talk about that for whatever reason. We try dating black men- they don't always want us or put us down. Fine, let me try dating outside my race- that's iffy because not all men of other races want us either! It's like damned if we do, damned if we don't!!!
And don't get me started on all the negative stereotypes around black women. It's like no matter how educated, attractive, well rounded, or hard we strive to go against the negative, there are people out there that will still judge us based on our skin tone. And that's NOT FAIR.
Anon, I know it's hard and there will always be people out there looking down on you because of your race. Screw them. You are a gorgeous black woman and the fact that some people are too blind and ignorant to see that is THEIR fault, not yours! Don't go lightening your skin; that won't solve your problems. Superficially you might be lighter, but you will still be a black woman. Meaning any problems you face won't go away.
I don't know what to say other than I get it; I do. Being a black woman is hard sometimes. But you have to rise above it. There are people that appreciate and love us for who we are. However, you need to learn how to love and appreciate yourself first!
Everyone has discrimination and verbal attacks. I am Asian. An Indian girl (from Bengal) I have had my fair share of Xenophobic attacks from people of the same race (Asians). Admittedly, I have never experienced racism from other races however I have experienced prejudice from others of the same race. I have Marathi friends who have also experienced Xenophobia. Either directly experienced it or I have come across it at some point online or heard some prejudice/stereotyped remarks in real life or have had it narrated to me. It used to irk me but it never made me want to change.
I grew to love my culture more and more. I have such a rich culture. I love Rabindranath Tagore, I love durga puja and I love wearing saris - especially the traditional Bengali rape, more commonly known as the ‘Devdas drape.’ And I love seafood. I love Bengali desserts like roshgulla and sondesh. I love how I look: my dainty hourglass figure on my 5’6 frame and my lightly tanned skin with its olive undertones. I love my long full head of straight and soft dark brown hair owing to my background. I love my language and poetry and the fact that it has so much pure Sanskrit - more so than Hindi. I love that my culture means I can speak several languages, I can dance, I can watch films and soaps that I wouldn’t have known of if I were White.
People who are racist have serious issues and are actually so miserable. I pity them for how much hatred they have within them. They will only become consumed by their own hatred. I pity shade-ist people for their colonial mentality. I don’t want their toxicity anywhere near me and the great thing about life is that I choose who I associate with. I choose not to be on Instagram and other Social Media sites because they’re toxic. I choose to keep less friends because quality matters and frankly I’d rather be alone than around people who try to make me upset.
We can’t change toxic people or their views. We can only help ourselves so in order to be happy we have to shift out own thinking. We have to love ourselves. We have to remove toxic people and influences from our life.
To end this off: I would never want to be White or anything else. I am proud of my background. If I ever get a chance to come back to earth again I would wish for the same family, I would want to return as an Indian (preferably Bengali) and I would want to be born as a girl again. I would never want to give up the richness of my culture and heritage for anything or anyone.

You jus have to get over the insecurities and carry yourself with confidence. As a black woman, i have not experienced what you have. Happiness for the most part doesn't come from being a certain race or being "beautiful". Happiness comes from your own thoughts, actions, and unfortunately influence from those around you. So if I was to make a very quick, uninformed judgement about you from what little you have posted, I would assume you struggle with one of the following: Either you have in the past faced racism and/or the experience white is better, and now your mind believes it Or you currently face that racism and/or the experience white is better, and you believe it. well, humans (of all races), really don't know sh*t. One of the solutions to either of these is to surround yourself with better and more intelligent/non racist people. If there is anyone in your life making you believe these things.. consider cutting them out. Black women are absolutely gorgeous, they haven't always fit the stereotypical beauty standards of the west, but this is slowly changing. Same with the general respect for, is starting to change, and the black lives movement that just happened is long overdue. I live in a small town in Canada, and the majority of the people I have met have been pro black lives. I see white girls wanting to look black, I see white men (respectfully) dating black women.
Its a slow battle but things are improving, and I wish I could just get it in your head that you are not less in anyway because of your skin color or culture.
You should embrace your skin color. You should be proud of it girl! God creates us how we're supposed to be. As someone who had self-esteem issues -and still struggles with them today-, I recognize you do as well. I used to be bullied because of my looks. There were these boys who called me ugly for no reason. So I used to think that "when I take my braces off and have straight teeth, I'll be beautiful and I'll be happy; when I stop my acne, I'll be beautiful and I'll be happy; if I was able to use foundation that matches my skin tone and apply makeup I'll be beautiful and I'll be happy (where I live we didn't have foundation for hella pale people. I'm 27 and this year was the first time in my life I was able to do so). So, long story short I was always thinking that if I did something for my appearance, it would be the solution. But I did them, and I kept finding things to change about myself, and I was never satisfied with my looks, and I was unhappy for years. I let the comments get to me, I'm not the prettiest girl but I'm not that bad looking, my mind made myself seem like I was hideous. It was all in MY mind. Now I look back at pictures of myself and am like: I was so bad on myself. I looked good! Nothing you do to yourself (physical) will stop making you feel unhappy, at least not permanently. My advice is you work on yourself and your mindset. It takes a lot of time, years, and it never stops. Ps. I'm so pale there are days I wish I was at least black or whatever shade that's darker than mine hahah
I was exactly like you except that I'm south east Asian (who live in South East asia as well) and I want to change my facial features as well. I realize that I have a serious inferiority complex. Being white is what I hope I can be although it's impossible. I assume that you live in the West and share common values with any other Westerners. For me, you must have the same values as the guys whom you're attracted with and that's enough.
I know that I have inferior complex (in terms of physical attractiveness and origin because I'm not a westerner) but I also know that it's wrong because people have NO REASON to look down on you. If they do, the world is messed up, not you.

Everyone experiences some type of discrimination and prejudice. It's easy to dream about the grass being greener elsewhere, but it generally leads to disappointment.
You talk about wanting to have long hair. All my life I've heard curly-haired females wish they had straight hair and straight-haired females wish they had curly hair. Life is challenging for all. We just assume others have it easier.
People tend to share a public face and a private face. Many of the people you believe are happy have just as many challenges and disappointments as you do, though they may be different, even when their public face appears beautiful to you.
You say you'll never date, marry or have kids. If that was true, where did all the black people come from? Obviously, other blacks continue to date, marry and have kids. You can play the victim or rise above it. I'm not saying you won't ever be challenged by those insecure people who feel they must push others down to raise themselves up a millimeter. There are plenty of black women, black couples and black families that have risen above the challenges they've faced and have become impressive role models. Don't give in to the media. Be the woman you can be proud of, and you'll attract people who are impressed with you.

There isn’t any treatments to being white, but there treatments for being comfortable with the way you look. Look up beautiful black girls on Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, anywhere. If you feel self conscious about your hair, if you haven’t already learn how to properly take care of it, if you have kinky hair it can be hard to take care of it, but when you do it will be all worth it.
Yes, there is a lot of discrimination and racism towards poc, which is incredibly cruel, and awful. But I think we might be I, proving, or improve in the future, just know black girls are beautiful they are actual goddesses and look stunning in the sun, they own sunlight. I'm white, and there's nothing wrong with being black. There is something wrong about hating yourself and the skin you're in. I'm not one of these people that think you should love yourself, but i do think you need to have a little balance with how you see yourself, and self-hatred is definitely not good.
Look, we all have preferences. I know one guy at work that really likes Asian girls, there's plenty of black guys that prefer white woman. If you prefer white men, there's plenty of them that prefer black girls, but they're not just gonna drop on your doorstep, especially if you're not currently taking care of yourself, mentally. If you hate the culture you're in, immigrate to another mostly white one that's more suited to your preferences. But more than anything, learn to start treating yourself like someone you're responsible for, and actually genuinely taking care of yourself. It really is not healthy to hate yourself. Be proud of your race. Be proud of your ancestor's faults and successes. Whether you're white, black, Asian, hispanic, middle eastern, sentinel, aboriginal, bushman or a T*rk, your ancestors fought and died bravely for you to exist at all. They were all warriors, explorers, mothers, and leaders. They gave a shit about you before you were born. They gave a shit before you or your parents were even a thought because they gave a shit about their people. And you know what? They still are your people, with their successes and failures, struggles, culture, and desires, they are yours. You are not lesser or inferior (and I'm a white nationalist. This is just the way it is). I do not wish I was black, but neither should you wish you were white.
Your future is not screwed on account of your race. Your future does not have the discrimination you were led to believe it does. You have hope. You have dating prospects. You can be happily married with a great guy who will wake up next to you and love your hair, love your skin, love your eyes, nose, mouth, and your soul, love you from your innermost depth to your outermost appearance. This is not only possible, but likely. You have hope in life.
I do think that black Americans should have their own country and whites should as well. I can't help you for the discrimination thing, but by affirmative action and the like, you're more likely to be discriminated towards by being given a job or getting into a college than a white person, and per police interaction, white people are far more likely to be shot, and have to deal with police power trips just as often.
That's neither here nor there, though, because you have a wonderful, beautiful race that you should and have plenty of reasons to be proud of.

Either you are trolling or what you are wishing for is a very bad idea.
Look there are several physical aspects of body I wish was different: I wish had a smaller less nerdy looking nose, I was my skull was shaped differently, I wish I had a lower voice, I wish all the red hairs on my head would turn blonde, dark brown or black. I HATED being a part red head growing up. I also wish my skin was slightly browner/tan. I also wish several things about my personality would change. I’m sometimes too nice and I don’t even realize it until it’s too late.
But you know what. Their undesirable characteristics about myself are desirable in other people and never even realized it. It took me a very long time to accept that but finally in the last 2 years I’ve finally started to learn to love myself. The world doesn’t always judge my surface the way I fear it did.
About race. I will never truly understand your existence nor will you understand mine. But I can promise you that your life will NOT suddenly become easier if you got your wish (especially nowadays). Despite what you hear in the news white people really do have our own bullshit to deal with (we got higher suicide rates). It’s not a bed of roses.

Chances are, even if you find a way to change your skin, you'll still be unhappy because you haven't addressed the core of your trauma. Get a therapist, the sooner the better, and if the first one doesn't work out, try again.

Anyone decent, i. e. anyone you would want to be dating even if you were white, would treat you respectfully regardless of your race and gender. No one worth dating, marrying, or having kids with would think any less of you for being female or black.
It sounds to me as though you've heard a lot about black people being victimized. I can only tell you that everyone struggles (including and especially those that appear outwardly perfect), and that you should never, ever let anyone tell you what you can and can't do. Of course you can have a happy ending. You only lose when you give up trying.
In terms of prejudices, discrimination, or worries about the police, just treat everyone around you (including yourself) with respect, and 99.9% of people will reciprocate.

I think you're tunnel-visioning. Sure. Look at the typical media. Most white people get the dream life, or some version of it. But swap the colour filter and look up black people and you'll see the same thing. Accomplished. Successful. Smoking hot. It isn't really about skin. Sure there are differences. No need to deny it. But they are only as big as we let them be.
Realizing that bit, you can probably start making some real progress. Pointing at something and going "If I was..." is just another way of deciding you don't feel like fixing things. You can however always strive for improvement.
