Maybe shower and shave? Shave definitely, shower sometimes. I never tried 100% to be or look my best on a date because I'm a long-term type (I'm married after all).
I didn't want to fool the girl into thinking I'd be prince charming 24/7 because even though I might be able to pull off such an act for some number of dates, it's still an act and I don't want to put it on indefinitely.
So I just gave myself a quick shave usually, make sure I don't smell bad, and go! Then if the date bombs, I figure it wasn't meant to be. Time for a new girl, and I enjoy talking to new girls!
It usually didn't bomb though, surprisingly enough, even given the lack of effort I put into it. I only had two first dates that bombed on me out of far more. I tried to deliberately put only the tiniest bit of effort into it.
Naturally shower and shave and at least to a wardrobe check and if all my jeans have holes in them buy a new pair. Also wash and wax the ride and vacuum it out.
I havenāt had a first date in a long time, but before a date with my hubby I think about my outfit throughout the day so Iām pretty much decided what Iām going to wear, shower, shave my legs, get dressed, look in the full length mirror to confirm my outfit decision, do my hair and makeup, put my shoes on, and make sure the babysitter has everything she needs for the kids.
Sounds like WORK!
! st impression is the last, always go on ur 1st date with decent dress

Not much tbh.. thatās assuming showering and shaving is basic minimum you do everywhere anyway so I donāt really count that. Most dates Iāve been on are pretty casual park/ walk/ film dates so can dress pretty casually but Iāll make sure to do simple, light makeup as i Usually do (plus maybe eyeshadow to look like I made an effort) occasionally new outfit but nothing expensive. And thatās about it.
I wouldnāt really go to their place after the first date anyway so donāt have to worry about the rest of the options. If it was a nice dinner however then maybe a nicer perfume and dress thatās all really. You want to be yourself not some fake image of what you want to portray after allā¦
Make sure you have food for breakfast 😂😂ā¦
def shave my legs.. shower. About 5-100 times change outfitsā¦ makeup.. then more outfits 😂then an he with the hair.. then finish makeup.. ughh🎀ā¦ im glad I have a bf🥰🎀
Lemme guess. You always go back to the first outfit you tried on.. am I right?

@TommyMountainFigure They are certainly different. . . and for that I am ever so grateful!
@OlderAndWiser I know bless 'em. except when they keep ya waiting for two hours only to say "what ya think about the first one I tried on?" Like we can even REMEMBER that far back?:O

I would say A to E and a half not quite FNot quite F because yes I would clean the house but no I would not pre-prepair my bed because on a first date they're definitely not ending up in my bed and also not G because they would not be spending the night on a first date. Everything else mentioned I would. But I'm also very big on making sure I smell good and my makeup is done.
Shower and clean up my house. I would do this before going out with friends or on a date. Hell, I even do it if I know Im going to be outside for more than an hour. Since it will be a relief either way to come home to a clean apartment regardless if the date went well or not.
Pretty much everything in the options.
Today I have such a meeting and I have already picked up the outfit and had a good shining to my shoes.
I never step out of the house without being properly groomed. I've always stocked up with food, bedsheets always changed once a week too and my car is always clean..
I've never taken notice of it before, but I do all of those things without thinking.
I always use the steamy warm shower, so I can make sure I don't smell so bad and look fresh, warm, squeaky shiny clean. Then, I would use the deodorant for my armpits and I would use either just the regular cologne or a skin cologne so I can smell less good, but not too much otherwise, it will be a bitter cold turn off for my date. I can get a haircut and my mustache trimmed to look good for a pretty princess on a date. Lastly, the only way to be fully confident is to be my old, sweet, natural, handsome fun-loving self. Now I can have fun with my sweet pretty princess and that's it! 😊😁āØ
Personally what I do for a first date is meet them during the middle of the week after getting out of work which is usually The best because restaurants/bars are not busy and you can have numerous conversations about anything ex. Work related, home related by just being yourself and if you feel a connection then you can plan a fun day/night out and go from there. From my experience being spontaneous is always the best as opposed to planning way ahead and the possibility of any disappointment
These are really good things to consider. I like em all.
I'd probably consider cleaning my car and showering are the least I'd do. Probably not new clothes or haircut - unless the haircut needs to happen.
Clean car (not detailed) - check
Shave and shower - check.
Carefully select clothing that is suitable for the occasion - check.
Make sure my hair is combed and I look and smell good. Done. I'm ready to go meet a beautiful lady.
Honestly I don't do much for a first date, I just go basically... but I choose shower, but like that's a basic thing everyone should do anyways so yeah
Get a good nightās sleep. Thatās not a sly sexual comment. We perform better at any important task when we are well rested. Sleep is a silver bullet that is often overlooked.
I shower and shave. I Play pumped-up music and do my hair, outfit, and makeup. I do clean my apartment only if he is coming in to pick me up. I say very cheesy pep talk phrases while getting ready. I pray before as well. It's a process.
I donāt know about getting a haircut depends how it looks. Shower shave make sure my fingernails are cut properly get my Tommy Bahama clothing on and my fancy New York style shoes and get Ready to rumbleāāā
Shower, shave, brush my teeth, clean my truck out, etc just the usual stuff.
I'll know if i ever actually go on one. But i guess shower should be fine, a haircut if necessary.
Shower, maybe do some makeup, maybe wash my hair. Maybe fix my brows.
I believe all of your choices above are necessary for the first date.
When I meet someone for the first time, I just shower and shave the neckbeard. I never really stress with meeting people
Personal care is a first priority. I try to look good for the person Iām with
