Do you mind if ur girlfriend/boyfriend depends on you for help?

If u have a significant other/partner/fiancee that needs to vent, needs reassurance or just someone to talk to about 2 or 3 times a week, and u could pick if it happened over the phone or in person, would u be cool with it and why?

Yeah I'll support him/her, no problem

I'd encourage him/her to check in with a friend for emotional support

He/she needs help or therapy

Not my cup of tea, they need time to heal away from me

If I cannot be the one they turn to I would think we are doomed. This is what its all about. Sacrifice, support, understanding, encouragement, just a simple listening ear.
I pray someday I get someone who depends on me and I don't let them down. And I can vent the things that eat at me as well and let her know how much she does for me too.

She ALWAYS opens up to me when she has problems.. In fact everyone I know has at some point opened up to me, because I try and just listen before offering any advice, and the only offer it when I think it is needed.

I'm single but I've been talking to someone.

I think my last ex asked me for advice. None of my other exes asked me for advice that i can remember. Maybe a few times i guess.

Honestly its just my closest friends that ask me for advice and appreciate it

That's literally what it means to be a partner. Be there for your person.

I vent to my partner at least once a week and she does the same to me. To me, it's the sign of a healthy relationship.

I don’t really have any issues with it everyone needs someone from time to time. And if you can’t depend on you partner who can you depend on?

and part of being a girlfriend or boyfriend is being there for the person your with.
