Would a 27 year old virgin male be a red flag?

I'm a 27 year old male and still a virgin, nor have I ever dated or kissed anyone, which people express surprise at (presumably because they find that unusual for my age). I've just finished my degree of 3 years, I was hoping I might find opportunities to date, hook up with someone etc. I guess I used to have some issues with social anxiety, but this has improved dramatically over the last year, thanks to working out a lot and generally taking good care of my health. To the best of my knowledge I've never had the opportunity to hook up or get dates etc, I kind of feel like these opportunities might've presented themselves to me (?). In any case, I'm feeling a bit despondent, because such opportunities are gonna be much harder to come by now, plus I'm under the impression that my complete lack of sexual experience is going to raise alarm bells for women, and potentially be a complete killswitch for any attraction. I can understand why it definitely could be and sympathise with that, but I guess I'm looking for perspectives here.

I personally don't find that dating a 27 year old virgin is an issue or even a red flag.

To me, that signifies that this person has had other priorities in life and in your case, your studies were more important to you than fornicating. I praise you for that and for setting your goals in life correctly.

Anyone that finds it an issue is a person that is not thinking further than the tip of her nose and that does not see all the benefits that come with being a virgin.

The likelihood to have STD/STI is substantially reduced and if you have never been in a relation, you cannot have cheated either. Those are all positive points.

Join a club or take up a hobby where you can meet people that share the same interests as you do. You might find the right person. Good luck.

Listen, Eggs. Keep these details close to your vest. You don't have to reveal such stuff after a few dates that might go south. Unless you're SERIOUSLY dating someone, it's none of anyone's business.

If you think you're going to become intimate and the woman is agreeable, then you have to divulge your innocence in the sexual area. Then you two can go slowly and you both learn about each others' bodies. Should be a lovely adventure.

The thing is that's when I'm imagining it's likely to become a red flag, I mean by that point it's kind of unavoidable to bring up really, I mean even if I don't I think someone would be able to tell from my awkwardness etc. I guess it's at that point I imagine it being a kill switch.

But if it is, then you'd have had no chance. There's someone willing to teach you a little. It's such a nice gift to give someone. There are gracious women. Be ready to laugh a lot.
