By people around me if i say that status and money and a good job are important to me? My ex was a mailman nothing wrog i respected him but i work for deloitte... it just doesn't match,

I get what you are saying as I work “challenging” work as well. I don’t get what you’re saying given people are the most high valued Resource. Whether the mailman/woman-boy/girl gets paid more than me matters little BUT delivering on time or as boyfriend/girlfriend is paramount.
—Finding a guy with a better job and >1 million yearly is not super difficult.-that guy as husband or boyfriend within traditional definition may not be part of that deal.
