What do I talk to my boyfriend about , since I am an introvert I'm not good with conversations?

My boyfriend told me that he sometimes gets bored with me because I don't talk much. I really don't know what to talk about with him since my mind goes blank whenever he is with me. I feel like he will eventually lose interest in me. How do I make this right?

If you’re so “boring” then maybe you aren’t the one for him and vice versa. You want a person where you don’t feel the need to overhaul your personality (I. E being an introvert) to accommodate what he feels is a more lively, fun partner. You should be able to be yourself and he should know by now that maybe you aren’t big on churning out conversations. If he’s the talker, let him pick the topics. If you aren’t and there are moments of silence then he should feel comfortable so long as he’s in your presence. But you’re not boring and it’s quite rude for him to put that on you.

You must have hobbies or interests.
See if you can get him to talk about those and, in particular, get him to ask you about those if he is unfamiliar.
For instance, my wife says I am a "citiot" (portmanteau of city and idiot) because I am unfamiliar with many things about living in our rural area where she is from. But now, I can almost speak fluent Redneck and know many things about her interests: trucks, trailers, camping, kayaking, and horseback trail riding.

He may have a point about the conversation drying up... i was married for 20 years sweetie, i know how that works, but this guy is your boyfriend, you are both young, it's supposed to be relaxed and exciting, and he's supposed to want to be with you... that's all of you... not just the talkative part... and to use the term "bored with you"... Grrrrrr !

His current score on the boyfriend chart is low. You should tell him that. And for for pity's sake, please don't think twice about cutting anyone out of your life that would say things like that to you as if it is your fault. Remember it takes 2 people to have a conversation... he clearly can't keep it going either.

I don't know if it'll work out if you're trying to change you are to that degree. Some people just don't have a lot to say all the time. I personally don't have much things to say everyday and it's something my partners have addressed - it's just not me and I'm not looking to change that.

I Totally sympathise with your problem, It happens to me in platonic convos. One idea is to find one or more hobbies that you both like. Read books, and watch films together, and discuss them afterward. Just a couple of ideas.

Tell him boredom is for the lazy and absent-minded. That is not your job to entertain him. If you can't have a meaningful relationship naturally. Then maybe you should break up.
