There is something wrong with that, if we want a peaceful, functioning society. Coupling and the raising of families for nearly everyone is a good thing. When women are all competing over the top 20% of guys (who are also having sex with nearly all women), the majority of men are going without, or fighting over scraps.

Men's desire for sex gives average looking women the impression that (because a 9/10, or 10/10 bangs them) they're more appealing than they are- in terms of a long-term partner. Women should have more realistic expectations, and stick with them.

No. You just have to be aware that a lot of women think they are of higher value than they actually are in the modern day. Most women receive a lot of validation on social media. What this means is women are more likely to over value themselves because they incorrectly corellate likes on IG, with their value. Because this value is based primarily on their appearance, as a man, you just have to understand that what a woman looks like, is not an accurate indication of her actual value. Its important to understand this dynamic because its just as new as social media, and a lot of women exclusively value themselves in this way.

They tend to need to be fussier about who they are with.
I think it may be a carry over like in nature, the selection of someone who will be a good father, the stronger male will win over weaker ones.
Most women seem to look at the whole person, not just based on their phyisical appearence, like what most men seem to do.

Hypergamy is women’s nature. They’re attracted to guys that are taller than them, smarter than them, make more money than them, etc. but what women don’t realize is for men that means we’re stuck getting girls that are smaller than us, dumber than us, make less money than us etc. It’s not that women are like morally superior when having more selective criteria for men it’s that they GET to have that luxury by default.

Women have shallower standards not higher standards.

They date assholes and pricks because they are more attracted to drama and bullshit than anything else. They want to be the magical female who “changes him”. But they are much shallower than men over all. Men find 80% of women attractive enough, women only find around 2% of men attractive.

Men generally have very high standards when choosing a wife. If he just wants to fuck you, so long as you are not far and nasty, he will lower his standards considerably.

It depends. For a fling a lot of guys have no standards beyond "unrelated adult female." When it comes to relationships I do not see the gap overall.
